Once upon a time, in a certain village, there was a very rich man. He gave birth to five children. Because he was so rich, his children had a happy and materially abundant life. But everyday life is infinite. If you have one, ask for two. If you have an elephant, ask for a fairy. Because he was so happy, his children became greedy, selfish, and fought with each other.

When they grew up, all five children became rich thanks to their parents' money. Even though each person has a property, they still maintain the habit of jealousy, envy, and arguing about the possessions they have. Seeing the children not getting along, the father was very sad. He tried to advise, but no matter how hard he tried, his children could not let go of the hatred that was deeply ingrained in their flesh and blood. He was so heartbroken that he fell ill. After a period of illness and bed rest, he knew that he didn't have much longer to live. Ong called his children to his bedside and asked the servants to bring him two bundles of chopsticks. His children were still looking at each other in bewilderment, not understanding what the father intended a bunch of chopsticks, give one to each person and say:

- Each child takes turns breaking this chopstick for me.

As soon as he finished speaking, in the blink of an eye, the five children easily broke five chopsticks. Looking at the broken chopsticks, he remained silent and his children also waited quietly. A moment later, he gave the entire bundle of chopsticks to his eldest son and gently said:

- The children very easily succeeded in breaking a chopstick. Now, the children take turns breaking the entire bundle of chopsticks for me to see.

The eldest son held a bundle of chopsticks and tried to break them. He used so much strength that his face turned red, but he could not break the chopsticks. Waiting until he gave in, the father told his second son to continue. Just like the older son, the second son could not break and gave in. Ong patiently waited until the fifth son gave up before calmly saying:

- That, you see, is the power of solidarity. If you continue to be jealous of each other and separate from each other, you will be as lonely and weak as a stick of chopsticks, and you will be easily broken by the enemy. But if you know how to love and unite together like a bundle of chopsticks, no force can break you.

His five children understood what their father meant and the lesson he had just taught. Touched and regretful because living together was not right and made their father sad, his children hugged him while crying, promising that from now on they would give up their selfish habits to love and unite with each other.

Then, the father passed away. The five children obeyed their father's instructions. They are very united and love each other. Their family life is very harmonious and no one can compete with their family's wealth and business...

Lesson:

Unity creates strength. Like a bundle of chopsticks, if we separate each one to break it is very easy, but when we keep the whole bundle it cannot be broken. Brothers in a family must know how to love and support each other to overcome difficulties and obstacles in life.

Thus, the story of the bundle of chopsticks is a valuable lesson about the spirit of solidarity, once again affirming the great value of solidarity in life - Solidarity is strength.
