My Coworker, Death
Death and I work very closely, but never together I see death in passing about once a week, but we've never actually met. For most people death is an obscure thought, something that rarely crosses the mind. For others, it is the prominent shadow that runs past our peripherals. Tonight, death worked over time. He was not a blur that ran past as I was turning away, but was a prominent shadow in the room I stood in and the floor beneath me. I didn't see him at first, he's easy to miss if you want to. My focus was on the muddy veins of my patient's right arm, attempting to finagle one last good one to draw from. It was never my forte, but when I did get it, I enjoyed watching the smooth red liquid collect into the tubes; the simple movement of it was relaxing to me in a sense. It was a reward, an earning for my blind pokes that eventually caught what I was looking for.

Mormon
I am currently reading 'The Book of Mormon' and I have read similar stories in another book that offers the same yet different characters that are even mentioned in 'The Book of Mormon'. This is one book that one could say is a supplement to another great book of literature. One can learn to see ideas in a different light. I am not Mormon, but I have known a few, but not Donny and Marie and the Osmond brothers except through their specials and television show. 'The Book of Mormon' is a read that reads like the other good book.

Book banning is a crime to me. We should be able to read whatever we want. There are some books out there not worth reading, but we must have the choice. There are some parents or other adults who think way too much and read too much into certain novels.

Can’t believe I didn’t comment here! Great list and so clever of you to use the slashes! Haha, I see I made the list (Pride & Prejudice)! And yeahhhh…hate the book banning reality we live in. At least self publishing still exists, and still personal choice to buy those books. 💜
Pretty clever with using the slash marks to remove the spaces to include as many words as possible for this critique. Nice on on You for doing that, and even nicer still for reading all of those critiques. Still, I haven't really seen anybody do a critique on the "A Song of Ice and Fire" book series, just the TV show (which went downhill faster than a seesaw on a highly gravitational planet).

I am confused by this list, but I think that in the book banning dystopian future some places are approaching people won’t be allowed to critique art because it is strictly controlled by the art police and any critique is seen as an attack on the state.
