This is Why You Shouldn't Start A Cult

Amy Carlson, known as Mother God, started her "New Religion\New Age group, or a better word for it is a CULT in 2006. The group started taking form after Amy had left her job at McDonald's and she had left her husband as well. The group she started as called Love Has Won, and it had about 12-20 full time members, up to the time of her death. Love Has Won was based in Colorado, and then they moved down into Hawaii in 2020, but they were forced to return to Colorado due to hostile environments while in Hawaii. You may have heard about this cult or "group" through the Dr. Phil Show, where Amy Carlson appeared. She also abandoned her children to start this organization, her children were only ages 2, 7, and 12 years of age! She also claims that she started this group to bring peace to the Earth. She said that she was on a mission, given to her by the angels of heaven. Her mission was to "give up everything, bring peace to the planet, and serve humanity." Amy herself stated that she did not want to leave her children, but the angels told her that if she did not "make a jump", and go through with the calling, no one else would. It was all up to her. She gave all parental rights to the fathers of her children and left for her quest to save humanity. Amy's own mother has said that she did not have any maternal attachments to her own children, ever! So, why did she give herself the name "Mother God"?

Amy was born in 1975, but she claimed to be way older, by thousands of years. Amy has stated that she was Jesus, and she actually remembered being hung on the cross. She claimed to be not only Jesus, but God as well, and not to mention Gaia, the goddess of the Earth or the personification of Earth. She also claimed to be Spider Woman, the Navajo constant helper of humans. She also said she was White Buffalo Calf Woman, who was a sacred woman of the Lakota people, who brought the 7 Sacred Rites to them. Amy had claimed that she had performed miracles, like Jesus had. Also she stated that she had performed over 100,000 surgeries & she had cured people with cancer with the power of love! She also claims that she had been reincarnated many, many times. For instance, Amy revealed that she believed that she was Marilyn Monroe, and Joan of Arc. Robin Williams had paid her a visit to Amy after his death in 2014. She said that he would often visit and speak to her as a spirit. (Because she is that special. Sarcasm..from the writer, of course!)

Anyway, back to Amy and Love Has Won. A previous member of the organization had accused Amy of using sleep deprivation as a way to control them, she laughed hysterically and denied the very thought of it. She also denied the claim that Love Has Won was indeed a cult, because, the concept behind Love Has Won was transparent, unlike a cult. If you had ever seen videos of Amy during some sort of live stream, you may have caught her acting quite irate. The do not seem so happy & loving at Love Has Won with Amy going on emotional & spiritual tirades. A delusional tyrant and brain washed, weak minded people make a recipe for disaster. What if some of those members become disillusioned? What if they realize that Amy Carlson was not indeed Jesus, or God, or Joan of Arc, or even Marilyn Monroe? Robin Williams sure as hell was not talking to her! Amy had appeared on video tape belittling and verbally abusing her own follower, calling them "fucking whores"! Now, Amy stated that she had people attacking her for her beliefs, and she had her house burnt down as well. She confessed that the anger that was seen was due to many hostile and potentially dangerous situations.

I also want to mention, that Amy believed that she had been reincarnated 534 times! She believed that she was a divine being that was 19 billion years old. She would actually lead 144,000 people to a mystical 5th dimension. Along with followers, Amy would hold live streams on YouTube to recruit new followers. (And promote their New Age products.) In one of those live streams, we can actually see Amy telling a small child "Surrender! Surrender! Surrender to Mother!" When the child was upset and was not listening to her, she put the child in "time out", which was in a closet for four minutes. She defended her actions by stating that children need to learn boundaries.

So, what was life like on Amy's ranch? According to one former member, it was beautiful. On her first day at the ranch, however, some one was already being sent away, which she felt was a red flag, but she ignored it. Like other followers, Ashley thought that Amy was indeed God, and she was not allowed to see "Mother God" for 2 weeks upon arrival until she reached a certain energy level. On the ranch, everyone was forced to stay up super late, doing hard work & chores, and they absolutely must wake up at 5;00 A.M. every day, no exceptions. Ashley had said that she believed that Love Has Won used sleep deprivation to brain wash people. When she finally met the "Mother God" , she was surprised to see such a frail, weak woman, confined to her bedroom. Amy told Ashley that she was paralyzed. Ashley also stated that apparently, if you weren't doing some kind of back breaking labour, or in motion of any kind during your resident at the ranch, you were taking energy from Mother God! OH! By the way, those "miracles" that Mother God had been performing on the sick, had a price. $100,000 to $400,000 were charged to the people who came to Amy for help. Amy was additionally accused of being an alcoholic by Ashley. The surgeries that Amy had performed, only took 20-60 minutes. Amy also said that the surgeries are extremely draining, and had led her to become paralyzed. Oh, and if you don't follow her, nor believe her, then you are what she calls a "whore" or a "retard". What a divine creature she was.

So, here is the creepy part! You may of heard the Amy was found dead in the past day or so. She was found mummified, wrapped in a sleeping bag and decorated with Christmas lights! You read that right! Creepy, right? That's not the worst of it, she was found in the Love Has Won headquarters in Colorado. The progression of decay lead authorities to believe that she had been dead for 7 weeks. Also, 7 members of the group have been charged with abuse of a corpse, and child endangerment. The members had stated that Amy, or as they may call her 'Mom" had "ascended". For my closing statement, I would like to mention, one disturbing thing. The corpse of Amy Carlson...was also found missing her eyes.
