Jack
My First Victim Martha Tabram: August 7th 1888 George Yard Buildings. White Chapel. I walk the dirty, filth ridden streets of London, more specifically White Chapel, I repulses me all these creatures of the night trying to sell me their disease ridden rotten over used carcasses. What on earth would Me a wealthy gentleman Doctor want to sully myself with the likes of these if you can even call them women in a dark alley. It is cold tonight. I am looking for a women to practice my trade on and make these things of the night see how they are putting themselves at risk by plying their trade with all and sundry at all hours of the night, in dark alleys and in doorways, because they can’t afford to keep lodgings over their unkempt heads. I loathe these things. I don’t even consider them human. They have no feelings or emotions, if they did they wouldn’t do this to themselves and then blame us, the rich and wealthy. It is not our fault.

The Strange Case of Blondie Katie Moore
The Strange Case of Blondie, Katie Moore By Paul Doherty A man sat slouched at his office desk, alone, while indistinctly, through the outside window were the sounds of couples returning to their homes from their evening’s entertainment. He had been motionless for hours and even he was becoming aware of his own unwashed state. Pike was deep in thought. Near midnight, the room was dark and still, apart from the sliver of moonlight streaming down from the waning moon. The power had been turned off and he had no money to have it switched back on. If he could just solve this new case, there would be a bank roll of cash, enough to solve his problems. Some of them, anyway. All his remaining money had been spent on the items sitting on the desk in front of him. A half-empty bottle of Kentucky’s finest bourbon, a packet of Lucky Strike’s smokes and a red Zippo.

The Lake
I Luke and Mary arrived at the lake house just as the sunset was fading into night. They had not been to this house in years but had decided it was time to rekindle their marriage. Mary felt like Luke had been distant and suggested that they get away from everyday life to just focus on each other. They both got out of the car and were greeted by the brisk air of fall weather. Luke went to start grabbing the luggage from the trunk while Mary carried in the food that had brought for the weekend.

The Perfect Crime
Setting (Flashbacks): It’s been 50 years and my name has long since been forgotten. The only place left with my name on it is an old case file in the back of an old, rickety filing cabinet marked “Open For Investigation.” It’s been left to gather dust in the way back of the grey, chipped, and antique middle drawer alongside all the other cold cases. My name is filled in as “Jane Doe.” Because that’s who I was. That’s who I’ve become.

Stories have been written about it for centuries, from Spiritual levels to horror stories water has been the center of millions of accounts. This story, however, is slightly different, more tangled, and more fitting with a horror story.

Sessions
Movement of the cat, even a meow, a faint unfamiliar whisper among the cast of her favorite tv shows on her old boxed television set, a swarm of leaves grazing the window of the family room, an untraceable creek in the ancient weathered wood floors of her kitchen, and that's all it took. It was the smallest of sounds, the normal sounds, that caused the most havoc in Sarah’s world.
