The violence of the world, is sad. But hate is probably the worse human emotion. Nevertheless it's an emotion, now Racism is a lot of controversial issues behind it. And I want to address my views as wife who entered into an African community who welcomed me with hope arms. It might be small island but it's home to me.

I have been in my country for only two months nearly on business. There has been so many racism slurs that I don't understand. Now what I don't understand on this I look as white as snow, but when it comes to when I am tan that's different.

It's never easy to get hate dished out to you. This was probably the first time a racism slur was amided at me.

I live in Saint Lucia as citizen by married but nevertheless happily married. I am a duel citizen of two different nations. So according to an acquaintance I sound like I have a slight Saint Lucian accent. Found that to be a compliment, but still.

At my local walmart a staff member calls me out. My mother was already out she had no bagged items for her drinks as the policy goes. All merch needs to be in a bag upon departure, if not the receipts need to be checked at the door.

So when it was my turn all of my items had been in a bag yet the staff member wanted to speak to me. He said, receipt n word.

I look at him shocked, "excuse me."

As the insults grew, I was both mortified and sickened. I am white on white. But I have friends who are mixed, and I cling to the African culture more.

What I don't understand I show him my receipt giving him what he wanted. I couldn't believe my eyes, but the staff member still was being rude and sassy with me.

After he was done with his insults I walk away fast mortified, and rubbed the wrong way.

After I got home, I told my husband about it. He laughed as usual. "You don't even look mixed sweetie. That old man was so ignorant."

"Thing is baby it wouldn't bother me if I was."

So after the last few weeks I went back to Walmart and the guy was fired apparently. Nevertheless, policies at huge stores like that need to have policies done like that to customers should get a complimentary gift card. Then again as much racism that goes on in America business, and huge corps would go bankrupt from such things.

I started to think about the black lives matter movement the women who started this. The hashtag made it all over social media platform. The women who started this names are, Alicia Garza, Patrisse Cullors, and Opal Tometi.

But the man who deserves this hashtag more then anything died to young.

Tupac Shakur

An advocate through his music, a genius who died to young. 2Pac is who made me fall in love with rap. He died in 1996, so we will never know what could have been.

Now the hard thing to discover, is racism born or made? Some say it's made and I think that's partly true. As Racism is a form of hate, it mind as well be hate 2.0. The sadness and the disease of this form of hate is so sad now do we end it.

Well we can't end this form, because hate is an emotion. Racism is part emotion, part action. So innocents who are human die to young and it is sad.

For me and my husband we are a interracial couple of course. We don't get hate or racism in Saint Lucia, but I do fear the worse with the social media climb of hate between cops, and other hate groups. I don't even worry for myself, I worry for my husband and myself together.

I have a fear of cops because of horrible experiences. The say that cops are supposed to protect all citizenships not matter the race. But you have the occasional bad cops. The occasional bad cops that's an understatement.

So, to all who ask themselves is Racism born or made, it is both I believe.

This is a thought-provoking article that raises some important questions about the origins of racism. While it seems clear that racism is not "born" in the sense that it is not an inherent trait that we are all born with, the question of whether it is "made" or learned is much more complex. It seems likely that racism, like other forms of prejudice, is a combination of both nature and nurture. Some people may be more prone to developing racist attitudes due to their upbringing or other life experiences, while others may be more resistant to these attitudes due to their own personal values and beliefs. Ultimately, it is important to recognize that racism is a societal problem that can be addressed through education, dialogue, and positive role modeling, rather than simply blaming individuals for their prejudices.
