You’ve finally finished every episode of Law and Order. You’re such a crime show junkie that you’ve rewatched every episode twice. Each episode beginning with a horrific murder, some that may be too graphic for the average liking.

Not to worry, however. Olivia Benson, female detective, a "bad ass", is on the case.

Olivia Benson. (Law and Order SVU.)

First on the scene, Olivia Benson typically is the one with the sharpest and freshest eye. As a seasoned veteran investigator, she knows everything down to what small details to look for in a crime scene, to what the crime scene is about based off of the level of violence that has occurred towards the victim. One bullet to the head and missing items is typically classified as a burglary. Overkill with no taken items typically tells the audience that the crime is a personal attack.

No worries. Olivia Benson is on the case.

Olivia spends countless hours, days, and weeks placing evidence on the front lines and hunting down her victims killers. After finding who she feels are responsible, she interrogates criminals tougher than the stereotypical and stocky cop. She confronts her criminals with the damning evidence. Evidence that can't possibly be denied!

Once you watch one episode, before you know it, you find yourself watching 8 episodes in a row. You enter the mind of an investigator and get to try and solve crimes yourself. Each episode is different and the best part is seeing the sick bastards responsible for the crimes towards women, children, and innocents get sentenced to life without the possibility of parole.

Now let's be honest with one another. Some criminals and/or villains on shows are just so evil and so damning that you often wish that you could just get your hands on them yourselves. The character gets under your skin so bad that you forget that it's just a TV show and think, "If I could jump in the television right now..." Bottom line is, in every crime show, you need two things. A cop, and a criminal.

What if I told you there was a show, who's main character was a cop?

"That's it?" I'm sure you're wondering. There's more.

What if I told you that that this man, Dexter Morgan, was a family man?

What if I told you that he not only was a cop, but a homicide investigator was at the top of his class as a blood spatter analyst?

"Is that all?" I'm sure you're wondering. I'm not finished.

What if I told you the show contained a series of serial killers, one dubbed as an Ice Truck Killer, who liked to murder and freeze his victims?

The Ice Cream Truck Killer.

And a serial killer who had a fascination of skinning his victims alive?

The Skinner.

And a man who liked to brand his victims with symbols before taking them hostage?

The Doomsday Killer.

Horrifying, right? There's plenty more criminals in the show where that came from. No biggie, though. Dexter and the Miami PD are on it.

But...what if I told you there was a top serial killer right under their noses?

What if I told you that this killer, used his resources as a homicide investigator to track down these serial killers himself?

What if I told you the reason that Miami PD couldn't locate these serial killers, was because these criminals were already being taken care of?

What if I told you that the last sight a handful of these serial killers saw, was this room?

The Kill Room.

This view?

What if I told you that a man witnessed his mother being murdered at the hands of a unknown serial killer in his childhood and made it his mission to hunt terrorists and serial killers in Miami, Florida, put them on trial himself, and sentence his victims to death himself after gathering their final thoughts? What if I told you that this man, was able to juggle being an investigator, serial killer, and a husband and father of three on a nightly basis?

What if I told you that this man, was Dexter Morgan?
