If you think getting caught with your pants down is the worst thing ever, you have never been caught with your weirdness out on full display. We all have our weird quirks or behaviors we hope to take to our graves with us, but you can’t always get what you want, especially when committing crimes.

1. Traditional or Extra-Crispy?

Domestic violence is no laughing matter, although when the report states “chicken residue in the hair” we know things probably got a little weird.

On Feb. 1, Eagle Lake 911 received a call from a man reporting his girlfriend abusing him. Operators heard the woman screaming in the background during the call.

Officers dispatched to the scene learned the woman had allegedly struck her boyfriend in the head with a “whole chicken.” Investigating the possible crime, officers noted the “victim still had some chicken residue in her hair.”

Police charged the unnamed woman with misdemeanor domestic violence.

2. Man Humped a Stop Sign to Make His Ex Jealous

I wish I could step into this guy’s head for a second and understand why he thought humping a stop sign would make his ex jealous, but whatever.

Police caught the man humping a stop sign in front of his ex-girlfriend’s home while stalking the woman. He claimed he did it because he wanted to make his ex jealous.

David Smith, 58, of St. Petersburg, FL, stalked the woman between April 10 and 13. He was caught on surveillance camera after dumping trash on the woman’s lawn.

3. 71-Year-Old Tried to Kill Husband of 52-Years After Ex From 60 Years Ago Mailed Him a Postcard

Bless her heart.

Bertha Yalter from North Miami Beach, Florida, racked up a litany of charges on January 28, 2024, after she allegedly attempted to smother her husband with a pillow.

Ms. Yalter, 71, became enraged after her husband, with whom she had been married 52 years, received a postcard in the mail from a woman he dated before the pair even met.

Police received a call reporting a domestic violence incident at the couple's home around 3:40 p.m. They found the victim in “extremely fragile” condition with “several serious bruises and open lacerations” and “open bite marks that were bleeding,” according to an arrest affidavit. The victim was transported to a local hospital.

The victim explained that his wife attacked him after she became enraged over the postcard from the woman he dated in the 1960s.

Police charged Ms. Yalter with attempted second-degree murder, aggravated battery on a person who is 65 or older, and tampering with a witness or victim, according to Law & Crime.

4. No Hard Feelings

I dont believe this guy’s story one bit…

A judge exonerated Australian man David Richardson after he pleaded guilty to indecent exposure. In September 2023, Richardson, from Humpty Doo, exposed himself to a teenager working the drive-thru at a Hungry Jack’s restaurant but said it's not what we think.

According to Richardson, he consumed a “Pit Bull Super” the night before visiting the drive-thru. The Viagra and Cialis concoction, well, causes a man to rise to the occasion, and party hard for hours.

Richardson’s elrection didn’t go away by the next day, leaving him in pain, but he got hungry. He tossed a towel over his private area, hopped in the car, and headed to the drive-thru for a bite to eat. He claimed he thought he had concealed himself and enough workers wouldn’t notice…but they did, two of whom were teenagers.

One of the teens said the man “reduced her to tears.”

5. He Released a Rat Inside a Restaurant to Get Out of Paying the Bill

This weird crime takes us back to 2015.

Fox News reported Christopher Baker released a rat inside a restaurant where he dined for a Valentine’s Day dinner alone.

The tab tallied only about USD 11, but the cheapskate could not afford that kind of bill. CCTV footage captured Blake dining alone at Borneo Bistro in the U.K. when he retrieved the rat from his pocket, screamed for staff, and jumped up from his seat after releasing the rodent from his hand.

The restaurant owner immediately responded to the incent, although he suspected something was afoul. She viewed the tape -he sat underneath the restaurant’s camera- and filed charges against the cheap-o.

He was charged with fraud by false representation and ordered to pay the owner the cost of his meal and a fine.

Maybe Baker was single for a reason.
