The heart locket

Riley was walking down the street, and didn’t realize he was right across from her. What can she really do? She always felt defenseless and powerless. All she could think of was the day she was raped and that’s the last thing she wanted to think of. She didn’t want it to happen again. Then there he was covered in a pool of blood wanting you to come to him, but you kept running faster and faster. It felt like you couldn’t get away like more people were following you. Could it have been a dream?

Were you asleep or awake? Did it actually happen? It felt like a zombie movie and you were the bait. It felt like you couldn’t breathe, like you were in the middle of the earth and you couldn’t escape. She fell in a pit without any food and water. When she thought he was gone “BOOM” he came out of nowhere. Nick chased Riley down and she fell and hurt her ankle; little did she know that he was carrying a gun. She was so scared she didn’t know what to do. She wanted to scream but he wouldn’t let her. She saw a rock next to her and quietly she grabbed it without him noticing. She hit him on the side of the head; she thought she killed him.

He said “Riley if you keep running I’ll shoot you”, she said “no please don’t.” What Nick didn’t know is that she still had her phone with her and she dialed “911”. Even though she didn’t answer they figured something was wrong. Why was he chasing her? He was chasing her because she had a locket that looked the exact same as his mother’s. Riley never opened the heart locket that her mother gave when she died. Why would Nick even want it? Well He was adopted and he became crazy because he didn’t know about his mother but he knew about Riley.

She thought that he was just obsessed with her and just wanted to hurt her but in reality it was her stepbrother; he never was able to live with his mom because he had those psychological problems. Little did she know she had to figure out why Nick was like that. She started looking for clues and trying to figure out what was wrong with her family. She ended up going to the mental hospital her mother was a patient in. Nnobody knew that Nick was born out of rape, Riley didn't know that her mom was pregnant around the time that she had a big brother. Nick thought that Riley was the one that killed his mother but in reality it was the man that raped Riley and abused her own mother. Naware of that and psychologically he wasn't really there so when his schizophrenia kicked in he was just blinded by the fact that he thought Riley was actually his mom. Before the cops even got him he fell off a cliff and died in an instant. Riley couldn’t believe her eyes so she opened the locket and to find two pictures of two kids. She didn’t know what it meant until it hit her and she said “he’s my brother”. She didn’t know.

What Riley didn't know is that she was actually diagnosed with schizophrenia as well but she didn't know she had it in her system until; she completely flipped out and ended up killing herself because she couldn't stand the fact that her mom killed herself because of her. Riley didn't know in reality what happens or what can cause any disease or any mental problems but in reality it comes from way back from your family. She always thought she was a mistake, she always thought that she was never supposed to be born; through all the chaos that was going on in the family. She thought that with the heart locket everything was going to change in her life because that's the thing that her mother gave her when she was on her deathbed. Riley was such a sweet little girl. Little by little she started to become more aggressive, more psychotic, she couldn't keep any relationship she didn't trust anybody. For god sake she even killed her own father because she couldn't handle the fact of her being raped over and over again. She had it in her but yet she still did it and her mom didn't do anything because she was part of it so they obviously covered each other. Carrie her mother didn't tell her about Nick and she didn't know what was the deal with Nick; but the thing is that when Nick was sent to adoption and got adopted by a different family.

She had such a horrible life that her mother gave her but she couldn’t help the fact that her mother was sick. So when she passed she wished it would be different. She was alone and with no one to be with her. So the heart locket you see was the last thing she had; until the day she died.He held a grudge against his mother and he wanted to go after his mother, because he hated her so much and in reality the one that he was actually going afterwards was your sister and he didn't know that. Lso blinded and so hurt that when he noticed Riley he noticed her lock it around her neck and that's all he wanted to take because he knew that it belonged to his mother. The whole plan was for him to kill Riley and take the locket because he never knew how his mother looked, how she smelled or was she even thought of. He was hurt when he was just a kid. He was just so hurt and so lonely that he thought he had a good life but in reality we miss somebody in our life and we end up doing things we don't want to do.

How could a mother just leave her child but well, he didn't know that in that heart locket she had a picture of her son and her daughter so she can always remember who they were because she obviously didn't think that she was able to remember because she was already dying. Twisted part of the story because her own kids didn't know each other and yet they wanted to kill each other. I wanted that one ended up happening because her kid didn't tell each other they ended up killing themselves. How could they possibly know that it's obvious, that's the point of the story the mother of the son, the daughter and the heart locket that made them all go crazy because everyone had a different perspective of it. What did Riley really do with the locket well she got up on a cliff and she jumped off with the heart necklace in her hands until her and the locket were at the bottom of the ocean.
