My Preference Is Fun And Happiness

Introduction

It does amaze me that in almost every area of social contact, the stuff that gets traction is stuff that complains, whines, hates and causes controversy. Often rules smashers are eulogised while those that spread fun and real good news are ignored.

I once coined a phrase for people around the Manchester area that they were only happy when they were miserable. That wasn't quite right, they were only happy when they had something to complain about, and always jumped in when something bad was happening.

While that is the introduction to this piece, that is the only negativity that will be in here so THIS WILL NOT BE A VOCAL TOP STORY.

So The Good And Happy Stuff

There are so many things that raise my spirits and can raise everyone's spirits and we really need to make sure that there is as much of that in our lives as possible. The more positivity there is the better that we all feel.

I walk on a daily basis meeting up with many cats and a few dogs, and they really do make me happy. I take pictures of them, play with them, feed them and share my pictures on Instagram and you can see and find out about a few of them here (this is just one of my cat stories).

I also listen to a lot of music, and that is always beneficial to me. There is so much amazing music around, and every now and then I do try and play some songs. I recently put together a playlist of a single song and I included my own attempt at it as well. Music is a great way to raise your spirits.

If you feel a little down put on a song that you like, and you will immediately feel better.

Also these days you can take music with you if you go for a walk on whatever device that is your preference.

And There Is More

I do like to watch fun films and videos, and YouTube gives us access to so much fun that we can watch, Check out these half dozen funny Facebook friends (I know the title says five but that was just for alliterative purposes).

This was an incident in my garden ten years back that still makes me laugh.

After this video, this came up on YouTube from Public Service Broadcasting. It does last for an hour but is an incredible educational performance from the Royal Albert Hall.

I also want to share something that is going to make you laugh, this next thing will definitely make you smile. This is from a concert in front of 70,000 fans, a Finnish rock and roll covers band pretending they are Russian with the Red Army Orchestra and Choir, I challenge you not to smile. My friend Krista is from Finland and loves them as much as me.

Well, I grew up with Bugs Bunny and thought that some cartoons would educate and makey ou smile even more. "What's Up Doc?" indeed.

Before I started this piece I did not know what I was going to include, and I think I could include a lot more but you don't need three hours of music and video because you can find stuff like yourself.

I also love talking to friends and the best conversations always minimise the bad stuff and maximise the good stuff.
