depth of thought
poems in the mind of the author

Everything dark, blank a complete contrast of the life we lived only moments ago.
Our minds empty until something tells us otherwise, we have no stimulation, no meaning.
Creating an environment not suited for life, somehow we find a way crawling our way forward following the trail of blood and sweat the nameless before left behind.
There bodies dragging on the ground from the pressure in which they put on us, our skin watching away with each pull until we are nothing left.
Water and life are compared the same, I understand why the dangers they hold, the unknown they bestow.
Looking over the horizon excited to dip your feet, eagerly stepping forth embracing its tight hold floating on its surface plays with your mind testing your will.
Blissfully ignorant, unaware.
Soon The dark depths unexpected grasp, pulls you in without a second thought, being unaware is a virtue.
The waters hold you for eternity, forgotten with the many others.
Mind in shambles, thoughts and feelings feel the same playing with my mind twisting my words.
What's real?
what's not?
who has answers?
Who will ever know, is the end near?
Dancing in the rain, singing in the mountains.
All fun and games until the soldiers come to play.
Forcing the rules into the games, ending the laughter and song.
Seizing the strong condemning them to a painful torture of insanity.
Snakes and ladders, snakes and ladders roll the dice, take the steps, pace yourself, pace yourself, don't get ahead of yourself there's snakes at every corner.
Racing, running, I've done it all and haven't even had to get up, I've swam, I've drown, I've done it all, except live it seems.
Brain matter splattered on the wall, covering our clothes, is it mine or yours?
I'm not sure continuing our rampage our minds fill with voices pushing more out of our ears.
Words spill in our throats, hoping to make more of a scene it's not intentional don't you know?
No you don't no one ever does.
Killing time feels a waste until time consumes you, racing the clock each and every time.
Sat alone with my thoughts, I wonder if there will ever be happiness headed my way?
Will I ever be given the same love I show?
Feeling like the dead, I stumble on my lonely path chasing the few I see, I don't mean harm but they don't see, running in fear I give chase hoping to change their minds.
I lose my way unable to find my path I feel more lonely then from when I first started but still the sight of others bring forth a kind of hope I can't help but give chase to.
These days I feel empty, thoughts of time lasting forever brought about hope, time now slipping from my grasp I'm uncertain.
I seem to chase everything these days.
To dance in the rain with you again.
To sit in the silence with you.
Spending time with you is all I ever want to do.
You where the one I saw your the one I breathed.
Shinning brighter than the sun I never noticed what you truly did burning my skin with every contact.
Snow flakes fall, warming at my touch.
They seem what to greet me, I feel the same.
We are old friends united again.
My smile fades watching you wither away in my grasp, I watch, I know I should let you go but I can't help but feel I might be able to do something about it.
Back from the dead, crawling my way free never seemed so hard.
Fingers scratching at the surface, the nails withered away with violent use.
Heads filled with thoughts overwhelming thoughts, begging for a breath.
Back from the dead crawling to your door.
You hear the knocks unaware of your fait.
I know I'm obsessed, but I'd do anything for you.
I beg and claw my way in, drowning in thought this overwhelming urge drives me to the core.
Your voice urges me to, filling my head with the your previous words.
I follow your words with no thought of my own, or were they mine?
I just hunger you, your touch, your taste lingers on me nothing else can satisfy.
Mind scattered, and numb when you're in my sights.
I need to kill you consume your heart, it never belonged to me now hopefully it will.
Waiting for your saving, waiting for your time.
Waiting for your love, waiting for your life.
Heart beat for you, warming my skin blinding me from everything.
The stone walls grew with each year incasing me further, pulling my hope from me.
I beg, I cry, all of it falling on deaf ears.
I'm painfully unaware that you were my capture.
Dying, yet somehow still a live a careful balance that destroys the body and soul.
Brains rotting from the inside out consuming what is known and what is not.
Clears our minds of the simple thoughts.
Overwhelming us with the complex
To the simple eye it's confusing the complex seems so simple we must be faking?
Are brains will never bleed never swell.
No reason for concern.
The ticking of time soon has no meaning.
Peoples voices become a blur.
Nothing is no more and everything is to much.
To much time in the day, left me sitting with my thoughts.
Now watching it pass in blurs I'm left in the dirt watching life move for the rest of them.
Days and days pass everything feels the same still to quick for me.
Everyone asks what I did I sit there and stare
I find myself doing that often, My mind draining.
Heart pounds from my chest I can't find myself reacting can't see myself thinking.
Moving my fingers won't do much doesn't scratch the itch I feel crawling on my skin.
Digging my nails deep won't ease the pain.
I don't mean to do it.
I don't know why I do it.
Heart pounding, mind twisting.
Everything black, everything white.
I took it to far I know it's the only way to feel.
It's the only way to see, to understand.
I'm sorry, my mind isn't right my mind isn't me.
It will be healed soon the scars at least.
only a faded memory until the next time.
Nothings the same, nothings right.
Everything coming in and out.
Static on the other end.
disconnecting us from reality.
Sometimes demons make a knife feel heavenly.
Dancing across the skin leaving its permanent mark.
The only permanence, lingering on your skin for the rest of eternity.
Love a bunch of heart break willing your heart into two, weakening your soul
From the media to the meadows, from the weeping lilies, to the crying lilacs.
We've heard the stories, we've felt their voice.
We see them when we are alone, we hear them when we are deaf.
They come in the night like the stories creeping up inside.
In the end it's all just a dream, all just a story.
But where in the lie there is the truth.
The cannibal meets its fate.
The greedy meets its end.
Listen to the words spoken by elders, their fairytales a caution for life.
I'm dying no one sees no one notices at lease I hope but eyes linger their minds blank turning their backs and easier task.
Jumbled thoughts, forgetful mind
Running in circles we had no shot
The beaconing fate to twisted minds.
Running the forest, chasing the trees.
Not free but at peace.
It's beauty dripping with fear.
Drowning in a puddle.
Floating in the sea.
Peace nothing but a thought waiting for the next pounce.
Running ears, shaking hands.
Who fired the first shots
We can not tell, Not till the floor sees red.
Lives change like the seasons.
Feelings switch like the wind.
Nothing stays the same, but nothing ever leaves.
All falling right in the end.
Winds turn
Whistles twist
Times change and nothing stays the same.
Everything finds its place.
I wish.
Wish love would go away
The only true feeling which holds things captive. manipulating the minds of the weak.
Its claws digging deep twisting the fates.
Disappearing as quick as it came.
Memories of you dance in my mind which I made up I'm not sure.
The thought of hope keeps me going.
Unreachable as before, my heart still yearns.
The neglect soon fades into the comfort of neglect.
The petals started to appear when you did not.
Did they bloom in his absence?
Or did they come to mourn.
Falling almost as quickly as they had come reminds me of you.
You didnt even let me have a year I barely had a chance.
The petals fall to the ground
Can't help but crave your touch even if it disgusts me.
Heart races with those puppy eyes, I know they are nothing but lies, they are deceiving.
Can't help but believe you when you open your mouth, I shouldn't cry, shouldn't react.
Your so right no one else will ever be, you'd tell em you'd love me everyone saw you looking in the mirror.
Convincing you to buy me flowers all you did was give them to someone else, let myself believe you were perfect couldn't look at the big picture couldn't look through the lines.
