Ingratitude and injustice

Exploring the Shadows of Unthankfulness and Unfairness

Ingratitude and injustice

Ingratitude and injustice are two feelings that hurt us to the core of our souls. The pain we feel is proportional to the love we have for those who perpetuate such actions that make us feel these cruel emotions.

When we give everything we are and have, especially our essence and truth, the disappointment of receiving something like this prevents us from even being able to breathe. We often end up feeling an immense weight, even self-imposed guilt, for something we have no control over.

Perhaps it is a way for us to work on forgiveness and understanding; perhaps this is the way to understand that we do not control the outcome of situations, no matter how truthful and noble we may be.

Being unjustly treated is like receiving a knife in the back, because it always happens in a way and at a time we least expect it, and usually from someone we would trust blindly. There are few pains that are felt with such intensity. How difficult it is to have faith and hope in moments like these... How difficult it is to maintain trust and not build a defensive wall around us. How can we believe that someone can be like this and not even realize what their words and actions can cause in others? Perhaps it is a lack of empathy, selfishness, or even pure ignorance. Surely, no one intends to provoke something like this intentionally and, above all, with feeling. I do not want to believe that someone can hurt another person just for the sake of hurting them. Despite everything, I continue to believe that everyone is a being of light and that, consequently, evil cannot exist in the way we often classify it; it is only that these people are not yet aware of it and only reflect to others what they carry within.

I know it is a huge challenge when the pain is so intense, but we must know how to respond with kindness and love to those who hurt us so much. No one is obligated to tolerate something like this; however, not tolerating it does not mean reacting in the same way and provoking the same in an act of revenge. Let's not make life a game or a competition; no one wins or loses; we are all here to learn and evolve.

If someone is unjust or ungrateful to you, it is only because you did something right and good. No one can be ungrateful or unjust to someone who is ungrateful or unjust. Only those who do good can receive something like this, and that is why you should be grateful, because doing good without expecting a result is being selfless and closer to divine teachings. "Forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us," this is one of the most frequently spoken phrases worldwide every day, often ignored by us with resentment and pain. Forgiveness is the only way to free ourselves from pain, starting with forgiveness of ourselves.

Be just and grateful to those who are the opposite of you. It will hurt because it has to hurt, but it will hurt much more if you hold onto that pain or the idea that you are to blame for everything you receive. Being the creator of your own reality is not only related to what you receive in your life, but mainly to how you react to what you receive in it.

Love unconditionally, love as God loves you, and love everyone as brothers and children of the same father. Everyone is part of the whole; everything is part of the whole.

Do your part; that is all that is asked of you; be kind, be loving, and be understanding. Above all, be true to yourself and your essence of light.
