Everything flows...

I find myself thinking about how often we don't know where to go, which path to take, what choices to make, what to value and not in this world...

How uncertainty causes anxiety and anguish in us—even those who have faith and believe that the best is always yet to come—at some point feel the anxiety of not knowing if they will make the right choices at a given moment. Life happens in the now, and sometimes this now is too confusing to be lived, and it's at that time that we need to stop and turn off our minds. The mind only lies once; I don't know if it will always be this way, but I believe that all suffering and anguish reside in the mind.

I look at nature, and everything works harmoniously without ego. Animals, plants, the sky, the sea, and rivers—everything that is not human has perfect harmony and symbiosis. In nature, everything flows, everything renews, and everything lives in joint harmony. In nature, there is a capacity to evolve just by existing, without thought, without the preconceived notions or limitations of the mind, without fear of living. All animals and plants know what to do; they have the essence of living, growing, and evolving, going beyond and carrying their species through time. We humans, with our consciousness, often can't do this. We spend our lives resisting the natural flow of things, not accepting, not receiving, not giving, living closed in a perpetual selfishness where life is us and everything that concerns us. Everything comes and goes: thoughts, emotions, life, and death... We are closed in the cycles of the mind and forget to just flow, to be just another being here, to feel for the sake of feeling and not for the sake of egoic desires.

We are no more than the ant we once stepped on or the flower we once picked, but we live here judging that because we think we are much ahead of everything else. We are the worst beings here, fighting for power, hating, harming out of malice, killing for fun, destroying just because. From this perspective, we are the worst beings among the millions of beings here, rarely providing anything good for any being other than ourselves. Even with our own species, we are cruel, even killing our brothers and sisters for nothing. There is no malice among any other species; everything that animals or plants do is for the preservation of their species, and everything is orchestrated among them to maintain a constant balance in the environment they inhabit. Only we humans, intelligent and conscious beings, are ignorant. We ignore everything else in the name of low and illusory emotions, and out of fear and selfishness, we destroy everything we touch.

It is time to be kind to everything and everyone; it is time to set aside pride, selfishness, and the arrogance of who is more and deserves more. We all deserve the same; we don't live in a race where we compete with each other; we don't need malice to be someone; we just need to flow in the love of existing and coexisting with everything around us. Everything is connected, and even though most of us know this, we continue to ignore it as if it were a lie. You are the tree outside your window, the bird singing, the blue sky that fascinates you, the laughter of children playing in the park, the river that flows and empties into the sea that is also you, all the stars, galaxies, the entire universe contained within you.

When will you stop being what you're not? When will the malice, the ignorance, and the avoidance of looking at your essence stop? How much time will you need to realize that no matter how much you run from yourself, the earth is round, and at some point you'll catch up with yourself again, and again you'll have to look at yourself?

How much longer will it take for you to see that everything that is God is within you?
