The notion of consuming yogurt, coffee, and fresh orange juice as an optimal breakfast is widespread. Nevertheless, some foods may not be advantageous when ingested on an empty stomach. Identifying appropriate and inappropriate foods for consumption on an empty stomach is crucial for enhancing morning nutrition.

The desire for freshly baked croissants for breakfast is ubiquitous. Nevertheless, short crust and puff pastries are not the optimal choice for the morning meal due to their yeast content, which can irritate the stomach lining and cause flatulence. Instead, opting for whole-grain bread without yeast is recommended. Consuming this product early in the morning is ideal as it provides essential carbohydrates and nutrients for the body.

Consuming sweets in the morning should be avoided as it elevates insulin levels, thereby imposing a considerable burden on the pancreas which has just resumed its function. This may lead to the development of diabetes. Honey, on the other hand, is a suitable substitute as it stimulates the body, providing vigor and energy. Additionally, it enhances brain activity and elevates serotonin levels, the hormone responsible for inducing positive feelings.

The consumption of yogurt and other fermented milk products for breakfast may not be beneficial due to the production of hydrochloric acid in the stomach when consumed on an empty stomach, leading to the destruction of lactic acid bacteria. Conversely, research indicates that selecting eggs as a breakfast option can result in a noteworthy decrease in daily calorie intake.

The health benefits of pear consumption are widely recognized. However, it is advised to avoid consuming pears on an empty stomach in the morning due to the presence of crude fiber that may harm the delicate mucous membranes. In contrast, watermelon is a more appropriate choice for an empty stomach as it provides fluid and is beneficial for the eyes and heart due to its high lycopene content.

Tomatoes may not be as advantageous for breakfast as commonly believed. The presence of tannic acid in tomatoes can elevate stomach acidity, leading to gastric ulcers. For sustained energy throughout the day, it is recommended to consume tomatoes during lunch and opt for cornmeal porridge for breakfast. This alternative aids in detoxification, heavy metal elimination, and normalization of intestinal microflora, and provides a prolonged feeling of satiety.

Raw vegetables are commonly perceived as a healthy dietary option. Nevertheless, cucumbers and other green vegetables contain amino acids that may cause heartburn, flatulence, and abdominal pain when ingested on an empty stomach. It is recommended to avoid their consumption in the morning, but they can be included in lunch. Conversely, buckwheat is a highly nutritious food that gently stimulates the digestive system, providing an excellent source of protein, iron, and vitamins.

Consuming bananas on an empty stomach should be avoided due to the potential for a significant rise in blood magnesium levels, which may pose a risk to cardiovascular health. Instead, oatmeal is recommended as it forms a protective layer on the stomach lining, preventing damage from hydrochloric acid. Additionally, oatmeal contains soluble fiber, which can aid in reducing cholesterol levels.

The consumption of spicy foods can lead to irritation and damage of the gastric mucosa, as well as an increase in acid production within the stomach, contributing to various digestive disorders. It is advisable to avoid spicy foods in the morning. Wheat germ is a beneficial food source, providing 15% of the recommended daily value of vitamin E and 10% of folic acid while promoting digestive health.

Consuming cold carbonated beverages on an empty stomach is not recommended for optimal bodily health. Such drinks can harm mucus membranes and impede blood flow to the stomach, leading to slower digestion. Instead, incorporating nuts into one's morning meal can enhance digestive health and normalize stomach pH levels.

Finally, it is crucial to avoid consuming orange juice in the morning due to its high fruit acid content, which can cause heartburn, and gastric ulcers on an empty stomach. Instead, incorporating blueberries into one's breakfast is recommended. Recent research has demonstrated that regular consumption of blueberries can improve memory and regulate blood pressure metabolism.

I appreciate your hard work, but in reality, a significant part of the world's population lacks access to food. So, I would advise someone to think about facilitating food for those in need.
