The man told him

Once upon a time there was a rich merchant who used to do business away from home. Once he planned to go to a different city to do business, in order to be sure, before going, he asked a local who had just come here about the situation there.

"I wonder what is the best price for your goods?" 'he asked.

"Sandalwood sells for the highest price locally." "The man told him.

So the merchant used all his savings to buy large quantities of sandalwood to sell there. When everything was ready, he set out on his way. It was getting dark when he came across an old woman who was a shepherd and struck up a conversation with her. The old woman asked him, "You're not from around here. What are you doing here?"

"I'm a stranger here on business."

"Beware of them here. Many of them make a living by deceiving and robbing strangers. You must not turn a deaf ear to my warnings."

Then the old woman drove the sheep away.

The merchant, too, came to the city with doubts, and found a hotel to stay in. The next day a local man came to see him and asked, "Where are you from, Sir, and what are you doing here?"

The merchant explained his purpose, and the man quickly asked, "What goods have you brought?"

"I heard that the market for sandalwood here is good, so I brought a large quantity of sandalwood here."

"You've been cheated. In fact, the value of sandalwood here is the same as firewood. The locals just use it for cooking."

The merchant felt very sick at the man's words. So they had to cook with sandalwood every day. When the local man knew this, he came to him again and said, "I feel sorry for you, seeing that you have been cheated. How about I buy all your sandalwood at the price of a litre of whatever you choose?"

"I'd love to." Feeling cornered, the businessman immediately agreed.

After the business was concluded, the native prepared to move sandalwood, and agreed to pay the next day.

The next day the merchant left the inn and went to the appointed place to collect money from the buyer, not wanting to meet a blind man on the way, because they both had blue eyes, and he was unreasonably and unreasonably harassed. The One-eyed man framed him, saying that the merchant had blinded him in one eye and that he would not be allowed to leave unless he paid for it. The merchant, of course, denied it, and the two began to quarrel. There was a growing crowd of people, some watching, others interceding, and the merchant had no choice but to agree to the one-eyed man's unreasonable demand and promise to pay tomorrow. The one-eyed businessman let him go only after he had hired an insurer.

The merchant regained his freedom, but the soles of his shoes were torn off by the tug and tug with the one-eyed man. He went to a shoe-mending shop and said to the shopkeeper, "Please help me mend my shoes. When it is fixed, I will give you satisfaction."

After leaving the mending shop, he walked on and saw a crowd gathered in front of him. I looked forward and saw them gambling. He did not know how to sit down, by the gamblers egged on a silly gambling for a while, and finally lost. The gamblers asked him for money and gave him a choice of either paying up in full or drinking seawater.

"I'll give you an answer tomorrow." Having obtained the consent of the gamblers, he left the house and walked aimlessly along the street, with a heavy heart for his present situation and future prospects, until he sat dejected on the side of the road, bowing his head in thought. At that moment, an old woman passed by him. Seeing his sad face, she felt curious and asked him:
