My Honest Rhode Review
Here's what I thought about Rhode's creams, masks and serums, including the viral Glazing Milk.

Rhode has been on my list for a while. Unfortunately, only one Sephora in my area carries this brand, so it took a couple of months for me to try enough products. I'm not sure why Rhode is so exclusive, but I'll admit that trying their viral formulas made me feel like a rich influencer. Unfortunately, I'm still working on the "rich" part (and the "influencer" part)--but in the meantime, you can see what I thought in this honest, non-sponsored Rhode review.
What is Rhode?
Founded by model and celebrity Hailey Bieber, Rhode uses science-backed ingredients to make effective skincare more accessible for everyone. Each product is vegan, cruelty-free and made from quality ingredients, such as shea butter, squalane, niacinamide and hyaluronic acid. Rhode has won multiple awards, including Best Rich Moisturizer from the Allure Best of Beauty 2025.
Glazing Milk
Rhode's viral Glazing Milk includes vitamin E, glycerin, ceramides and a mineral complex, which may strengthen and moisturize your skin. You can apply this formula after cleansing your skin or blend it with your foundation for extra protection.
As the name suggests, this formula had a thin, milky texture with a white hue that turned clear as I massaged it into my skin. Afterward, my face immediately looked brighter and cleaner as if I'd splashed it with cool water. The formula also gave my skin a soft, dewy sheen and a firm but elastic texture, which felt great after suffering in the heat.
I can see why Glazing Milk went viral, and the price isn't outrageous, so it's a decent addition to your routine. You can apply it twice a day or use it on the go when your skin feels tight and dull. If your experience is anything like mine, your skin will soak it up--no need to wash it off afterward.
Barrier Restore Cream
Barrier Restore Cream aims to brighten and hydrate your skin with an eclectic blend of peptides, shea butter, niacinamide, bisabolol and hyaluronic acid. For best results, you'll apply this cream in the morning and evening after cleansing your face.
This cream's cooling, pudding-like texture made it fun to apply. Afterward, my skin felt more elastic, although the appearance didn't change much. I decided to use more the next day and ended up with the same result: my face looked the same, but the texture was softer and more pliable for the rest of the day.
Overall, this cream didn't deliver on all its promises, but it's good for a quick hydration boost. If I wanted to add this product to my routine, I'd probably use it alongside the Glazing Milk. The website also recommends layering this cream with Rhode's Peptide Glazing Fluid, so that's something to consider.
Pineapple Refresh
Pineapple Refresh offers glycerin, saccharide isomerate, polyglutamic acid, hyaluronic acid and pineapple enzymes, which work together to revitalize your skin. You'll use this formula at the start of your skincare routine.
Unsurprisingly, this product had a goopy texture and a bright yellow hue like pineapple puree. I expected a fruity aroma, but the formula was fragrance-free. After I rinsed it off, my face felt smooth, dry and clean like baby's skin. The formula had mopped up excess oils, and my pores were practically invisible.
Essentially, it was like using a face mask, but I didn't have to wait ten minutes for the ingredients to work. This product was also gentle, refreshing my skin without stripping away the top layer. If I had the money, I'd buy a bottle of Pineapple Refresh and use it every day. Rhode, if you're listening: I'm open to receiving PR boxes!

Peptide Lip Tint (Raspberry Jelly)
Peptide Lip Tint nourishes your lips with a blend of peptides, shea butter and vitamin E. This tint comes in a range of pink and neutral shades, including Toast, Jelly Bean and Salty Tan.
Raspberry Jelly had a dark maroon tint and a goopy formula that made me feel like I'd smeared berry juice on my lips. Afterward, my lips had a bright sheen and a bold maroon hue. The formula felt sticky but not heavy, and while it started to wear off after an hour, my lips were hydrated for the rest of the day.
This is definitely a product that requires frequent touch-ups, especially if you plan on eating or drinking afterward. Still, my lips were undeniably soft and hydrated, so it works well as a creamy lip balm. You could opt for a neutral shade if you don't want to deal with the color wearing off.
Peptide Lip Boost (Sugarmint)
Peptide Lip Boost is your source for ceramides, amino acids, vanillyl butyl ether, konjac hyaluronic acid complex and a special four-peptide blend. These ingredients may strengthen your lips and make them look fuller and plumper.
Sugarmint woke up my senses with a translucent purple formula and a minty scent that reminded me of the dentist's office. This product went on thick and clear, giving my lips a bright, glossy sheen and a mild tingling sensation. While the sheen looked nice, I waited several minutes and didn't see a change in texture or fullness.
Maybe you have to use this product regularly to see the effects. Whatever the case, Peptide Lip Boost didn't quite live up to the hype, but the minty fragrance is probably refreshing on a hot day. You could also grab the unscented version if, like me, the mint brings back unpleasant memories.
Caffeine Reset
Advertised as a "cup of coffee for your face," Caffeine Reset wakes up your skin with peptides, poppy extract, phytosterols, caffeine and vanillyl butyl ether. To use, you'll apply this mask to your skin, wait ten minutes and rinse it off.
This mask had a thick, cooling texture with a clear hue, making it hard to see where I'd applied the formula. Fortunately, the effort was worth it: this mask gave my skin a silky, velvety texture like Ivory soap. The surface was smooth and clean, and my pores were less visible for the rest of the day.
If my skin reacted this well to one use, I can't imagine how it would look if I applied this mask regularly. As a bonus, my face still felt soft when I woke up the next morning. I recommend Caffeine Reset to anyone who's looking for a heavy-duty treatment--this mask made a lot of promises, and it delivered.
Glazing Mist
Glazing Mist quickly hydrates your skin with ceramides, beta-glucan, ectoin, panthenol and magnolia extract. You can apply this mist at the start or end of your skincare routine, use it to prime or hydrate your makeup, or apply it as needed throughout the day.
As a skincare product, Glazing Mist is pretty straightforward. I sprayed it on my face and enjoyed the cool, refreshing sensation, then checked the mirror to see a light sheen and a healthy, revitalized look. My face felt wet, cool and silky to the touch, so this is a great way to reduce dryness and dullness.
According to the website, this mist is suitable for all skin types and even earned the Seal of Acceptance from the National Eczema Association. It's quick, convenient and particularly useful when you're spending a lot of time in a hot, arid environment. Plus, it's unscented, so it won't clash with your perfume or cologne.
Overall Verdict
The Peptide Lip Boost and Barrier Restore Cream were a little disappointing, but aside from those, Rhode's products nourished and hydrated my skin without requiring a lot of effort. The prices are decent, and many products come in travel sizes so that you can take them on the go. After so many celebrity makeup brands, it's nice to see somebody take a different path and invest in skincare that actually works.
