  • Applying properly cleaned aloe vera gel can reduce redness, inflammation, You can use it by directly applying on skin. But some person can get mild irritation. Patch test is recommended. It acts as a moisturizer.
  • Unprocessed raw honey for acne prevention is also a better option for acne problem. Same like tea tree oil it has anti-bacterial content, it is also applied and wash it off with normal water.
  • Cold green tea bags can be kept on skin to treat acne redness as it has anti-inflammatory content. Even green tea powder available in stores can also be used as face pack to skin in associate with honey and wash it off within 15 mins.

It is used in paste form for application and it is better to use grinded raw turmeric available in ayurvedic stores. Now-a-days processed and chemical based turmeric is also there in stores which is not good for skin. Turmeric can also reduce acne marks, and dark spots on regular usage.
  • Tomato for acne prevention as it contains high anti-oxidant and rich in lycopene. It can be used in the form of puree paste. Puree paste is made from washed and sliced tomatoes grinded in mixer. It can give hydration and soothing to your skin
  • Stupid home remedies that is been trending on social media:

    • Toothpaste used for treating acne's is a bad idea and it is not scientifically proven in any medium that applying toothpaste, you can get rid of acne. Instead acne can get worsen and it can irritate or even inflammation is possible.
    • Applying Baking soda can be harsh on the skin and it is harmful which lead to more irritation , breakouts, and even can change you skin pH level.
    • Rubbing alcohol either directly or in any product form containing high percentage of rubbing alcohol can make your skin more dry , irritation , cause new pimple and breakouts.

      • Clean towel.
      • Pillow cover to be changed frequently at least once in a month. Satin cloth pillow case.
      • Separate towel for face instead of using same towel for both face and body.
