Yo Gotti Vs. Gucci Mane: Groups Only

The businessmen may consider this arrangement.

If Swizz and Tim wanted to have a real Verzuz, they would feature Yo Gotti and Gucci Mane as a mogul against mogul battle.

The Alabama native Gucci and Memphis son Gotti would not rap their long list of essentials, however. They would showcase their artists from The New 1017 Records and Collective Music Group (CMG), respectively.

Imagine Pooh Shiesty sparring with Moneybagg Yo. Picture the rhyme patterns based on their biggest hits. Gotti and Gucci are the bosses who would be able to send their best officers into the field like generals or admirals.

Their own battle would be interesting, even satisfying. The ability to fall back and let your squad attack the competition is a true sign of a street leader.

If the bag is big enough, this thought experiment may just become a reality. Blac Youngsta could be paired with Foogiano. The skills of both MCs would be on full display to the world.

For their efforts they should not get just the money but also scholarships to attend whatever college or university they wish.

Let Enchanting and Lehla Semia get into the digital ring and have a sing off like other R&B divas. They should be afforded the same prize as the guys. Upon winning the battle, the ladies should also consider going to school.

Gucci and Gotti are the ones who have a lot to say, sure. But if Mozzy and Big Scarr get on that Verzuz stage and trade their hits, it would be an excellent example of talent and understanding of the game.

Given the fact both of them had been in the drug game and then flipped those skills and acumen and applied it to the rap game, they should know that they’re more than capable.

If they unleash their artists in battles, then they can just strategize who would be the best to go toe-toe. The best way for these moguls to direct their creative energies is to put their collection of individuals to fight via the mic.

It is a staple in hip hop now to claim a boss but very few are actual trailblazers. Gucci and Gotti built up stables of talent from the South that doesn’t have to compete with other regions of the country or even the world.

If they ever elevate Verzuz, it will be in the form of whole squads squaring off against another. Given the legal issue of the Swizz and Tim platform, Gotti and Gucci may just have to create their own platform.

It would give the chance of lifetimes of their artists. It would draw eyeballs and ears. The bottom line would be that they would reap the benefits of holding a battle with their entire collectives.

If they organize such an event or events, they would be able to demonstrate that their business minds are moving like tracks on a tank. Much like other rappers who formed houses for their artists from Jay-Z to Jeezy, Gucci and Gotti know they can do even more with their subordinates.

The attention would not just be a good look for hip hop, both for themselves. The money that would be generated would look great for everyone involved.

By knowing the ins and outs of the rap arena, both men would be able to create a pathway for other up and coming entrepreneurs to put in the work and garner dollars for their efforts.

For all of their successes, they should just put together the matchups and kick back with a cup of coffee and their feet on the desk.

Knowing Gucci and Gotti, they may say that they’re laid back in songs, but they would be completely hands-on about everything.
