This is a Vibe

Music is powerful. Just one song can change your entire mood. Some days you're in the mood to rock out. Other days you want to pretend you're a pop princess. This is a playlist I have curated that will help you feel calm and raise the mood in any room it is played.

The most interesting thing about music is that it can bring you to a meditative state without being the stereotypical “OM” music. Sometimes, rocking out to Led Zeppelin is what you need to be brought back to a positive space. Sometimes, a Britney Spears singalong with friends is the only thing that can get you to forget about the problems that had you stressing out just moments before. Music is not only the best distraction, but also the best medicine.

Something that some people may not know is that all sounds have a frequency. Some of these frequencies have special effects. For example, 396 Hz can cleans the feeling of guilt. 582 Hz provides the energy of Love. The list goes on and on.

With this playlist, I wanted to keep it light. I didn’t want it to boil down to some complicated equation that is supposed to make you feel some sort of way. I simply selected songs that I know, make me feel, good.

You can lay down in your bed. You can play it at a sunset BBQ with good friends. You can take a trip down PCH with a windows down. Whatever you choose to do with this music, just know, you will find yourself feeling Zen.
