Eddie Has Left The Building
Encountering Meatloaf in The Rocky Horror Picture Show The first time I had an encounter with Michael Lee Aday (born Marvin Lee Aday; September 27, 1947 – Left This Mortal Plane January 20, 2022), was watching the excellent musical Richard O’ Brien’s “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” featuring Tim Curry as the sweet transvestite Dr. Frank-N-Furter - A Scientist and Meatloaf as Eddie, an Ex Delivery Boy on a Motorcycle with only half a brain who met his comeuppance with a pick axe.

At this point, it is not news to anybody who follows Nigerian entertainment news that singer May-D who was signed to P-Square's record label Square Records and was part of the major P-Square hit Chop My Money also dropped his own hit songs like Ile Ijo and Soundtrack before parting ways unamicably with the label.
Jide OkonjoPublished 2 years ago in BeatGetting to know music artist RoyalDBlack
Tell us about you: My artist’s name is RoyalDBlack, and I was born and raised in Greenville, North Carolina. I was raised by my mother and father. My father left me when I was 13 and I don’t hear from him much. I use that pain in my music and I also use that pain to push myself to be the best artist I can be. I grew up with three siblings and I was the oldest. I felt like I had a lot of weight on my shoulders when I found out my mother was diagnosed with heart failure. I had to take care of my siblings and mother when I was only 15 years old. Music is the only thing I had back then to make me feel like me.
Jason JamesPublished 2 years ago in BeatGetting to know music artist FTF Yungyin
Tell us about you: My name is Ftf Yungyin. I am from Richmond Virginia. Music has always been my passion. I love the way it makes me feel, the way it dictates my moods, the way it uplifts me when I’m down , or motivates me when I need an extra push. I’ve loved music for as long as I can remember, but I really fell in love with music in of the the darkest times in my life. When I thought everyone and everything was against me and world turned its back on me, music was there. It was my heartbeat for the time I felt alone and it completed my soul. For every emotion I went through or felt, there was a song to match it. Every since then music has been a lifestyle for me. As a rapper/musician I stand out amongst others due to the fact that I am extremely versatile. I can sing , rap , harmonise, and freestyle without having to wonder how I’m going to do it. I can rap about ANY AND EVERYTHING. From cars , shoes , women etc. to more worldly topics like poverty, struggle, hustle. Another thing that makes me different is the story that I come with. I’ve been through so many things in my life that most people wouldn’t be able to overcome and I Shaped it into something positive, I learned to face it , I made it become apart of the ink that spilled from my pen, and most importantly, I used it to make everyone I ever came in contact with motivated. In five years I not only want to be an accomplished musician, but a successful business man , an entrepreneur, a father , a family man , a role model, and a mentor to those who can lean on me when they are in need. Also in that five year span I hope to own a couple establishments. I want a few rental properties, restaurants, food trucks , bars , clubs , and hopefully a clothing line as well. I don’t have a limit as to what I want to accomplish because the sky is truly the limit for me. What would make me the happiest is being the first person in my family to actually be able to say I made. I’d like to put my family and friends in better positions so that we all can function and live comfortably. Although I am focused on music I’d like to finish school at some point in my life just to tell my mom I kept my promise. Id like to win a couple of music awards and meet some of the big names I grew up on. When I’m making music I bring nothing but raw energy, fun , hype , swag, excitement, hustle , hard work , talent , good vibes , great story telling , creative ideas and new sounds. I bring MYSELF which i fee like is most important because I am truly one of a kind. When it’s my time to go and the light dims on me , I want to be remembered for not only my creative bodies of work , but for what I’ve done for people behind the music. I want to be known as a good human being with a kind heart , a good father , a good son , a good family man , a good friend, a God fearing man who would give you the shirt off of his back if he had. I want people to remember that I not only changed the music world but in some way shape or form I changed and influenced them to be a better person. I want to be remembered as a legend.
Jason JamesPublished 2 years ago in BeatLet's talk Tyler The Creator: Rapper or Mega Trendsetter?
When I think of Tyler The Creator I imagine Will's jokes and larger-than-life persona, Carleton's preppy fashion style, and Jazz's chill, nonchalant attitude, from the 90s sitcom The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.
Meatloaf
Legend is a title given to many people , in many walks of life. Many too easily and for too little. I think one criteria is that everybody knows who the person is and what they have done. I think meatloaf counts very defiantly as a legend. Unfortunately it can take a death to remind you of how much a person has done.

'How goes it' or how it went My first experience with Santana was in high school. Our PE instructor wanted us to break into groups, select a song, and create a skit designed for movement. Great, I thought.
Cathy CoombsPublished 2 years ago in BeatJust Some Completely Random, David Bowie Celebrity Interactions
The fist fight with Axl Rose… Bowie’s famous heterochromatic eyes are actually the result of a damaged cornea he suffered as the result of a fight over a girl, as a youth. He’d repeat the trick with a less flattering result, as a 42-year old man. Amazingly, we have this story from Slash’s 2007 memoir, a 1990 interview with Axl in Kerrang, and in the words of Riki Rachtman, the owner of the club where it happened. The timeline is a little murky, not surprising for the Rashomon-like accounting of the event, but it involves a drunk Bowie coming onto Axl’s girlfriend, Erin Everly (daughter of Don Everly), Axl hurling insults at Bowie from the stage, and finally chasing him down the street yelling “I’m gonna kill you, Tin Man”.

Sagittarius Singer Summary The most famous performers born between November 22 and December 21st have certain things in common. They are amazing performers in a very specialized sound and immediately stick out when paired with other musicians. They are born soloist who when forced to work within a group designed for other artists cannot succeed. That’s not to say that some of these artists haven’t tried to sing within groups that matched their era and genre of music, but the groups never truly worked until the songs were built around the Sagittarius among them.

Tammy ReesePublished 2 years ago in BeatAriana Grande's Discography Revisited and Reviewed
Ariana Grande is armed with a mesmerizing vocal register. Starting as an actor for the 2009 Nickelodeon series "Victorious", surprisingly, she wasn't even a singer on the show. But after wrapping up on the show, she began working on her first studio album, the now "Yours Truly" released in 2013. She set a tone, a message for the pop industry hits after hits. Moving forward, she's released the soft and bubbly sophomore LP "My Everything", then in 2016, landing to the vocal-forward and daring "Dangerous Woman" album. The hits were non-stopping, setting a scene in the music industry. There was controversy, mistakes, choices were made. It's 2017, she released three chart-topping, show-stopping albums, and she's across the globe on her Dangerous Woman world tour. In 2017, A shrapnel bomb explosion caused the death of 22 concert-goers and more than 800 injuries. But that didn't stop Grande from continuing her tour, brave enough to continue doing tours without thoughts of terror, because that's the point of terrorism. 2018 comes by silently, Grande saw the colors and released her comeback single, in response to the bombing, "no tears left to cry". Then, her fourth album "Sweetener" was brought to the eyes of the world. Covered with rap beats and hippy-tinged hits, it felt like a new sound for Grande, she was released from all the things holding back. But she spoke too soon. Grande’s ex-boyfriend and collaborator, rapper Mac Miller, died from an overdose, and she broke off her engagement with SNL star Pete Davidson a few weeks later. But what do you do when things fall apart? If you’re Ariana Grande, you pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and head for the studio. The now-"thank u, next" era has begun. She released "thank u, next" the single, and announced an album of the same name. She put out the album to critical acclaim. So what was next for Ariana Grande-Butera? The Covid-19 pandemic began in March 2020 which broke everyone apart. We were indoors, bored and exhausted. Ariana, as she does honorably, did it again, she broke the silence. A new single, Positions was here. It was election time and the single's visuals featured Grande as the president. She was in the bedroom, cooking, and even awarding a USPS mailer. She was "switching them positions for you". "Positions", the surprising sixth album by Ariana Grande arrived. Supported by collaborations by Doja Cat, The Weeknd, and Ty Dolla $ign, Positions was her most "soulish" album with experimentation. She hit a few whistles, created a few melodies, and even did some rapping on the playful "34+35". The rest is just history for Ariana Grande. She is nothing if not a testament to the power of being true to yourself. But there's a lot to unpack. Down below are my reviews of Ariana Grande's discography from her most recent albums 1-6.
