"Ode To The Wasp Woman" at Actors Temple Theatre is a very up and down play that has as many good things in it as it does pitfalls. The story has its premise in four actors who died prematurely. Sean Young who plays Susan Cabot, Douglass Everett Davis is George Reeves, Payton Georgiana is Barbra Payton and Josh Alscher is Alfalfa from "The little Rascals" fame.

Rick Henry ChristopherPublished 6 months ago in BeatThe Emerging Nigerian Talents
In the heart of Lagos, where the bustling streets and vibrant rhythms of Nigeria's largest city converge, a new generation of music talents was quietly rewriting the story of the country's music scene. These were not the chart-toppers or Grammy-winners that the world had come to know, but they were the unsung heroes, the underdogs who were making waves in their own right.
Ogboko Shadrack EjiroghenePublished 7 months ago in BeatTo The Women in Hip hop
Females in the hip-hop culture have always held space in the genre for their skill, their trendsetting authentic style and some of the best music to reach fans and listeners everywhere. No matter what records or history that we make over the years, the way that Black women are presented and represented on the music scene [and the props that some may feel that we should not be getting], has become grounds for debate from everyone but us. That is until now, with the presence of social media and the changes that have taken place in the music industry as a whole. We as Black women are all beautifully different in the way that we show up in the world. I call us a special genre of our own. We as women know who we are defining ourselves for ourselves. We know this and yes, we absolutely can. Starting with the music, HerBrownProductions honors a few of the most legendary and influential female hip-hop artists. Whether it be their legacy, lyricism, style or records that make them similar or unique, the women will be honored for their inspiration from each era of hip-hop.

In the vibrant city of New Orleans, where jazz and blues filled the air, lived a young musician named Caleb. He was a talented drummer who had an uncanny ability to express the emotions of his heart through the rhythm of his beats. His drum kit was his confidant, and his music was his language.

In the quiet village of Harmony Ridge, there was a legend that had been passed down through generations. It was said that on the night of the full moon, the heartbeat of the village could be heard as a serenade in the heart of the forest.

'Searows' Sends us Soul-Searching
Listen, I'm always a sucker for sad music, but Searows' discography offers so much more than that. In fact, it feels like a disservice to pigeonhole the Oregon-based folk singer's storytelling as simply 'sad music.'
Echoes of Passion
In the small village of Tymoshivka, nestled amidst the picturesque landscapes of Ukraine, a young boy named Karol Szymanowski was born. The year was 1882, and the world was yet to fathom the waves of music this unassuming child would create.

The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess
For me personally, music is the single greatest art form in the history of human existence. Itβs constantly evolving and ever changing. With the constant addition of new genres it can even be hard to keep up with everything thatβs releasing in the present day. That said, Iβm hoping I can put some of that music on any and all who is willing to read this. My first entry will feature a breakout artist in that of Chappell Roan. Sheβs just released her debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess. It tells a tale of her individual self exploration, her upbringing, and the path she took to being finally becoming content with who she is as a person.
A Song Of Vocal Tales
Introduction Almost every piece I publish on Vocal has a piece of music to go with it. I used to have a Facebook page called "For Everything In My Life There Is A Song" and very often when I read stories, a song or piece of music will come to mind.
