RockNRollBuddhaPublished 7 months ago in BeatCelebrating Impact: Stormzy
I have to shamefacedly admit that, while I admire Stormzy's tremendous talent, creativity and empowering activism, I haven't really enjoyed his music! I guess I'm used to other genres like classics, soul and reggae! However, I remind myself that without his music producing the money, he perhaps would not have made the impact he has done on the lives of others. And big respect to that!
Elaine SiheraPublished 7 months ago in BeatRevisiting ZZ
For years when I performed, I kept a small fish bowl on the stage (or area), and a notepad with a pen. If someone requested a song I didn't know, I'd have them write it on the pad, then put it in the bowl and promised to learn it, then perform it at the next show. One day back in 2016 someone requested a song I'd never heard by someone I'd never heard of. The song was "Blue Eyes Blind" by ZZ ward. I promised to sing it at my next show. (I've included a link to my music at the bottom of this article. Stage named Ronni Right).

Thirtieth Century Man
Introduction This is lifted from a Seven Days In Post written two years before Scott Walker died but has been getting a few views. The man was the epitome of a true artist so was not to everyone's taste, but I find his work absolutely amazing.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 7 months ago in BeatThe Rhythm of Love
In the vibrant city of New Orleans, where jazz and blues filled the air, lived a young musician named Caleb. He was a talented drummer who had an uncanny ability to express the emotions of his heart through the rhythm of his beats. His drum kit was his confidant, and his music was his language.
