World Turned Upside Down - Incredible Words From Leon Rosselson
Introduction Sometime in the past I first heard this song, either by Billy Bragg or Dick Gaughan. These versions conveyed the anger at the Hateful spite of the privileged classes toward the less fortunate.
Mike Singleton - MikeydredPublished 4 months ago in BeatBoy George and culture club, as great and fabulous as they ever ever wore, and ever are, and ever will be forever and ever always!
I saw a Boy George and culture club in 2022, my awesome cousin took me to see them at some hotel resort in Pennsylvania somewhere. Boy, George and culture club did not disappoint at all, they did their hits a lot of them and also because there’s artists in the music industry they also treated us their fans to some new stuff too, which is always enjoyable and exciting at the same time. Unfortunately, on this gig, while this show rather original drummer John Moss was not there now he is not out of the group bios any stretch of the imagination no it is there was a substitute for him at that night. He still a member of culture club.

In the world of holiday cheer and jingle bells, there's a tune that stands tall, making its way into our hearts every December. Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" isn't just a song; it's a festive anthem that has become synonymous with the joyous season.
Sangita NandiPublished 4 months ago in BeatCautionary warning to stupid girls of the world
pink and garbage have two songs that are warnings to the stupid girls of the world. They are two songs with similar messages but the same title “stupid girl”. These songs need to exist and with the state of the world and the messages that females of all ages get on a daily basis. The garbage song stupid girl tells it like it is Shirley Manson the lead singer really put stupid girls in their place is. The song was originally released by the band in 1995. The video is nitty and gritty and just perfect for the alternative music genre as it was at the time.

Once upon a time, in a galaxy as far away as the piss-puddled floors of the local all-ages gig-a-plex, there was a furious rebirth of the punk rock phenomena. That was about the good year 1996, and it was a time of incredible promise and pain: Promise that life might be every bit as intense and fun going forward as it was at that one youth-infused moment; pain because the fun usually involved someone jumping on your head, sometimes from the bleeding lip of the dirty, spit and cigarette butt littered stage, sometimes just to be doing it. And, well, if they were bigger than you--bammo!
Holly Jolly Christmas Coins
So it’s the season of Christmas. The mass media loves to erase thanksgiving, but I digress.Yes it has a sorted history, but it is still funny to see. Also there’s no money in that holiday. So I understand why they move on to Christmas so fast. Now with all this holiday cheer, comes the music we listen to every year. The same standards we have on rotation during this time good or bad, sung by everyone under the sun. The one artist who’s taking this Christmas music thing to the bank is Mariah Carey! She’s the only one who really cashed in on this holiday every year. The queen of Christmas as she’s called, who by the way just extended her run at #1 with “All I Want For Christmas Is You”at 16 Weeks on the Billboard Global 200 Chart. This season is so synonymous with her who knows if we’ll ever get a “regular” album from her again. At this point she doesn’t need to, and my question is why aren’t other singers doing the same thing?

Christmas — the best time of the year. I’ve always loved Christmas but it became extra special to me when I became a mother.

Introduction This is a sort of follow-up to my piece on artists who took classical music and tried to hammer it in ways that the original composer never intended. You can read that here before you go on to explore this piece of mine.

Selena, the series, which is a series on Netflix about the remarkable but devastatingly all too short life of Selena. The series goes more in death than the movie and there is a lot more focus on Selena as a little girl in the 70s, however, evolution into being a teenager in the 80s, and her transformation into adulthood in the 90s in the music business right along with her brother sister and parents – AB , Suzette, Marcella, and Abraham.

Introduction Today's weather is dreich and dark and rainy. It is also cold, so hardly inspirational, but there is a lot of music that addresses rain, so I thought I might share a few favourites of mine that will brighten anyone's day, even days like this.
