Girl. Let's face it, 2020 has been the year to end all years. Between quarantine, lockdowns, the general theme of uncertainty, and the unknown plaguing us all, I think I speak for many people when I say we all collectively just stopped caring for ourselves. Unless you were one of those people who could work out from home while balancing your toddler, your dog, and your zoom call, then I'm applauding you from my couch.

But if you're like the rest of us just trying to keep it together, half of it is the motivation to get up, get going, and get energized. This playlist has it all; Whether you're running around town (hello social distancing, I see you) or running up and down your stairs. Lifting weights in the gym or power cleaning your home like it's never sparkled before; this playlist is guaranteed to supplement that cup (or two.... or three) of coffee to inspire you.

You can pick up the pace with 'Rain On Me' by Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Who doesn't love a good bop about surviving, scratch that, thriving, during life's most immense hardships? I mean, hello, we're all doing just that right now. Give yourself some credit; you're killing this year despite how you may or may not feel about what you've accomplished. Lace up those sneakers, dust off those shoulders, and pound it out to this tune. We won't even judge you for scream-singing along; I mean, that's what headphones were made for.

With songs like 'OK Not To Be OK' by Marshmello and Demi Lovato, you can take that well-deserved break from your set or running pace and drink some water. Yes, I've ordered Uber Eats for the fourth time this week, and yes, I've re-watched 'The Holiday' for the second time this week while crying, but that's okay!

Did that quick water break turn into 45 minutes of you mindlessly scrolling through Instagram, telling yourself just a few more minutes? Hey, it happens. Put on some 'Raising Hell' by Kesha and Big Freedia and feel the energy flow through your veins. Influencers? Haven't even heard of them because you influence your actions. You are the biggest, baddest thing to ever step foot into HomeGoods. You do your laundry and fold it on the same day, well, most of the time. Regardless, you get out there, and you make it happen. Pump your fist into the air, let them hear your war cry, you are woman, and you are about to raise some hell. Go you!

Look at you; you've made it; you're rounding the corner on the most extended hour of your life. Who knew time moved slower when you were sweating (I mean, we all did, look it up, it's science). Happy dance the last few minutes out to 'Genetics' by Meghan Trainor, even though we know it's not just good genes that got you feeling so good; it's you! Own that post-workout glow, bask in all your hard work with how on top of the world you feel right now.

Just remember that you are in complete control even when everything feels so out of your control right now. Even if all you did today was get up and get through the day, you did it, and I am so proud of you, and so should you. This year has challenged and tested us in every way, even for those with the strongest willpower. Take that fire and keep moving forward one day at a time. If you're running on empty, rest, rejuvenate and get ready for a new day to come to run the world.
