Vocal readers, please enjoy our interview!

Tammy Reese: What intrigued you to become a music artist?

ReDroue: The love for the music itself is what intrigued me to become a music artist. Also, knowing that I have a story that I want to tell.

I want to be the voice for the people who are afraid to use their voices.

Tammy Reese: Please tell me about your EP "The Diary of Pyroa"?

ReDroue: The Diary of Pyroa EP is a reflection of what's going on in real life today, including with "The Black Lives Matter Movement'', racism, police brutality, and covid 19.

I didn't really see a lot of artists talk about those situations at that time and I wanted this EP to shed light on those problems in the world.

I also wanted to let people know that they're not alone, and the EP is me speaking to them.

Tammy Reese: What are some of your favorite songs on the EP and why?

ReDroue: Phantom, The Unjust & Control are my favorite songs because I love the way the production brings a dynamic and distinctive sound to those records.

I love the way I'm giving cadence on the records for them to stand out more.

Tammy Reese: What type of impact do you intend to make within the music industry?

ReDroue: The impact I want to make is having a new sound and turning it into a soul-touching element.

Another impact is to be a real big influence on other upcoming artists within the next few years.

Tammy Reese: What are you currently working on?

ReDroue: I'm currently working on a few brand new singles that I'll be releasing real soon.

Tammy Reese: What other music artists have you been listening to these days?

ReDroue: These days I've been listening to 2Pac, Summer Walker, Tory Lanez, and Travis Scott.

Tammy Reese: What is your favorite hip-hop album of all time?

ReDroue: "Me Against The World" by 2Pac is my favorite hip-hop album of all time.

Tammy Reese: What have been some memorable moments in your career so far?

ReDroue: Some memorable moments in my career are when I went to L.A. for the BET Awards and met a lot of big names, including Cordae, Rick Ross, Kurupt, Kirk Franklin, and Armon Warren.

Another moment was when I went to perform in Atlanta and met with Derez Deshon, Rich Homie Quan, YFN Lucci, Propain, Too $hort, Pastor Troy, and DJ Luke Nasty.

Tammy Reese: What have been some obstacles that resulted in triumph?

ReDroue: There have been a few obstacles such as not being able to record in the studio for months but later I would release an excellent and well-done EP.

Also not being able to travel for almost a year due to covid but this year I'm able to perform but virtually.

Tammy Reese: What else can we be on the lookout for from you?

ReDroue: You can be on the lookout for new music, merch, performances, brand new vlogs, and possibly another project.

Tammy Reese: What advice would you have for upcoming music artists?

ReDroue: My advice to any upcoming artists is to always strive for greatness, believe in yourself, don't listen to the haters, and go hard for your future.
