Trap Love Volumes 1 & 2 a long with Project PRO are some of his more recent bodies of work going back to mid 2018. As of the 2019, Pro has dropped a compilation mixtape titled “Smoke Break” which was followed up the first week of 2020 with his 4EVA EP.

Prolifek is set to release a large amount of music videos for his listeners this year.

Why did you choose the name Prolifek?

I chose prolifek my sophomore year in high school when I learned what the word meant. As I do now I would write a lot of rhymes and create a lot of music so “prolific” was a suitable name for me.

What is your chosen genre?

I love rap, hip hop, trap & r&b. I would chose all of these. I don’t categorize myself too much. I feel I can blend into any of those styles I listed above.

How long have you been creating music?

I’ve been working on music since I was about 12 years old.

What drew you to the music industry?

Living in a struggle made me want to rap about it. Hearing 50 Cents “Get Rich or Die Trying” made me want to share my stories as well.

Please explain your creative process

Ain’t too much of a process, I just do it. I’ll hear the instrumental and begin to freestyle lyrics to it, as I go I’ll video record with my phone to remember the rhythms. Then I go in the booth and record.

Is there a hidden meaning in any of your music?

No, no hidden meanings.

What is the best song you ever released and why?

My best song would be up to the fans to decide. I like all my songs.

This fan's favorite is My Love. Well .... one of my favorites

oh, and .... Street Life

What is your favorite song(s) to perform? Or, if not performing, what song do fans seem to favor?

Performance wise I would say Big Dawg, the crowd will usually pick up on the lyrics and sing it along with me.

Do you think you could get any better as an artist/band? If so, how would you achieve that?

I stay striving to become better everyday. Rethinking my previous moves and adjusting them to suit my next ones. If there ain’t improvement then there isn’t any progression.

Are you strictly a solo act or do you collaborate with others?

I’m a solo artist but I’m open to collaborations.

Have you ever dealt with performance anxiety?

We all get a little nervous but no I haven’t had any stage anxiety.

Tell about a magical moment or positive experience that has happened during your music career.

There’s been many ups & downs in my career so far but some good moments would be headlining some of the bigger shows I’ve done and having a good response from the crowd. All the good people I have met along the way. As well as just the traveling and enjoying life doing what I love to do.

What music do you listen to ‘for fun’?

For fun it’s mostly trap music. Future, Gucci mane, Annuel & Bad Bunny.

Who inspires you musically?

Musically, I am a student of the game I get inspired by everyone that has got to where I want to be at. All the legends.

If one artist were to perform at your party, who would get the call?

Mmmmm. Idk who I would want to perform at my party. Maybe a band or some singers. I’m a grown man & a rapper myself so I don’t see myself hiring another colleague to perform at MY party.

What advice would you have for someone wanting to follow in your footsteps?

Be ready to go all in & never give up.

How do you feel the Internet has impacted sharing your music?

The internet has really changed up the game to an easier way of getting heard. Once you figure out the right marketing I’m sure the internet will do its job.

What is your favorite/best outlet to connect with your followers Instagram, Spotify, FB, Twitter, iTunes? How would you want them to follow?

I have Twitter, Facebook & Instagram. My music is on Spotify, Apple Music & YouTube. I prefer interacting on Instagram and YouTube. So look for me @prolifek

What is one message you would give to your followers?

Never quit pursuing what you love.

What does the future hold for you?

God willing, a legacy.

I think God will see it through with this talented artist.

Did I forget to ask something? Something you would like to say, that I did not address.

Thank you.
