Before its release, the Malayalam industry hit of 2018 did not generate a lot of buzz. However, the film's strong content contributed to its strong box office performance. Later, it was made available in several languages. The film is based on the devastating floods that occurred in Kerala state in 2018.

The movie was supposed to be available on Sony LIV tomorrow, but it debuted on OTT earlier than expected. In Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada, the movie can be watched online.

This survival thriller is directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and features prominent roles for Tovino Thomas, Indrans, Kunchacko Boban, Aparna Balamurali, Vineeth Sreenivasan, Asif Ali, Lal, Narain, Tanvi Ram, Sshivada, Kalaiyarasan, Aju Varghese, Siddique, Joy Mathew, and Sudheesh. This masterpiece was produced by Venu Kunnappilly, C.K. Padma Kumar, and Anto Joseph.

"2018: Jude Anthany Joseph directs and Akhil P. Dharmajan and Jude Anthany Joseph write the survival thriller "Everyone is a Hero" in Malayalam. It all begins with a scene at the police station where a female officer asks her superior for favors. She wants the senior to assist with his verification because Anoop is well-known to her. The kid is pursuing for his visa after he left the military and afterward began working at the shop of a visually impaired man. He tells this old blind man about what's going on in the neighborhood in a scene that shows that Anoop has a big heart. To back up my assertion, who in these days would go to such lengths to comprehend the suffering of those around him? When Manju, a new math teacher at the neighborhood school, visited their shop one day, it was love at first sight.

2018 Movie Review

Ramesh, a truck driver who works in Anu Dhabi, Nixon, a budding model, and his own story are also narrated. Out of the total 135 minutes, the four stories about four families take up 30 minutes. We also witness the opening of the Mullaperiyar dam and heavy ocean rain. In 2018, Kerala got weighty precipitation that upset the existences of a few group. The same thing is depicted in this film, which also shows you the people's emotions.

Although I'm not a big fan of this genre, this movie lets us experience multiple lives through the characters. It made me realize that people in crisis need to do everything in their power to save themselves and those around them. 2018 is about The Kerala Flood that hit the locale in 2018 and took many lives. 2018 will also be enjoyable for those who enjoy watching these kinds of movies. At first, I was worried that the movie would end like Kedarnath did, but when I saw how it ended, I was happy. A young girl who was saved by the brave soldiers is shown in a scene putting sheets in the shape of "Thank You" to express her gratitude. If I had to choose one scene that will captivate you, it would be this one.

The purpose of films like 2018 should be to make suffering more visible to the general public. Despite the suffering, homelessness, and other issues, people did not lose faith. The actors did a great job bringing the real-life situations to life, and I applaud the producers for bringing a real-life incident to our screens.

I believe that unnecessary scenes consume a significant amount of screen time at the beginning of the film. At some point, multiple scenarios are shown simultaneously, which led to confusion and questions about why the filmmakers were not getting to the heart of the movie. They would have benefited 2018 had they started with the main issue instead of wasting approximately 30 minutes. You want to have a decent begin to get the notice, as I have underlined over and over.

At the point when the flood scenes were shown, I was blown away on the grounds that the altering, VFX, and cinematography were first class. This 2018 Malayalam film starred Jude Anthany Joseph, who did an outstanding job. Even though they simultaneously ran multiple subplots, which led to confusion, they also made sure that each actor got the time they deserved on the screen. The performance of Tovino Thomas as Anoop has won the affection of the audience. If these kinds of stories and editing continue to be produced, the Malayalam film industry will compete with Hollywood in the future.
