Harris, also known as "Crusher" on the streets checked his phone to find a message from his employer, who he only knew as Hawk; an intimidating man of medium stature, shaved head and grey beady eyes that only stared daggers and whose bloody reputation was known in the underworld. Even Harris, who stood close to six feet, four inches and weighing at two hundred and forty pounds knew what the consequences were if he ever betrayed Hawk.

Island of Toys
After unpacking the last of the boxes, Darren and Agatha Chambers took a well deserved break on their leather sofa. Since moving to their new Walmer Road Victorian - style house, almost everyone seemed to be on Cloud Nine. Eight year old Christie was anxious to play in her new bedroom with her new friends, ten year old Aiden was in his bedroom, glued to the iPad that his mother tried to pry him away from. Only six year old Maggie clung to her parents, scared and unwilling to go upstairs.

Beginner's Luck
Life as a burger flipper at the Pint and Pretzel, a popular chain of bars, was not the dream job that twenty-year-old Lorenzo’s parents had in mind. If anything, they wanted their naïve son to pursue a career as a lawyer or an engineer. Lorenzo would always tell his parents that he didn’t know what he wanted to do, but he knew that all they cared about was bragging to the family about their lawyer son. Instead Lorenzo graduated college with a Culinary Arts degree. He also wanted to become a pro-wrestler and had already begun training, much to the utter dismay of his conservative parents.
