T-Line Chapter 1 Her eyes flickered open and shut like a shutter on an old camera. Eyelids heavy. How long had she been asleep? She didnt even remember falling asleep. In fact she could recall no memories up to her current position. Once her eyes were fully open, focused and able to take in input to make sense of it she became aware of her body in the space. She wiggled her toes. She had to remember how to stand and walk for a brief moment before attempting the feat. She must have been sitting upright in this pedestrian carrier seat for hours.

The vessel gained momentum. The heat was rising so she blasted the air. The rush of cool air helped to disguise the situation. Making it more comfortable. Batons, hands and fists banged the side as she sped on. Bottles clanking the ground as they were tossed from the window. Plink, plank, shatter a rhythm heard almost a tune to a beat it was so patterned and regular in time. Like the patter of rain on a car roof.

Sitting on the edge of Vishals bed I grab a shirt from the clothes piled in the center of his bed. His washer and dryer are far superior to mine. Existing with functions I've never seen before. I say they are the Mclaren of washer and dryers. He offered to do my laundry to prepare for our trip.
