Ivan Milat, better known as The Backpack Killer, was seventy-four when he died in prison from cancer. He was arrested in 1996 and was convicted of murdering seven foreign travellers between 1982 and 1992. His death has left many unsolved cases and mysteries unsolved. Milat maintained his innocence to the day he died. However, it could be possible that Milat is guilty of twenty murders in twenty years. There are also questions about whether Milat acted alone or as part of a murdering family.

Kitty attended an all-girl high school where she was described as having a sunny disposition. When her family moved to Connecticut, she stayed behind and decided to continue her life independently. In 1953, it was reported that she witnessed a murder which left her understandably disturbed.

The Killing of God's Banker and the Suspects Who Wanted Him Dead
Like a scene from a Hitchcock movie, a man's corpse dangles from an orange nylon rope tied to scaffolding under London Blackfriars bridge. He was dressed in a suit, waistcoat and striped shirt. Although he had shoes and socks on, he was minus a tie and belt. The watch on his wrist had stopped at 0152. A wallet containing £13000 in various currencies and twelve pounds of brick fragments was stuffed into his pockets. This was the body of Roberto Calvi, God's banker.
