The Alchemist's Practice Chapter 8
Edric went back to the York bank the following day, and, just as Kennard had said he would, there was a draft lease agreement ready and waiting for his review. The amount of money and land leased was to be negotiable. Edric left that business to Kennard's expertise, given his knowledge of banking, local trade, and income.

The Alchemist's Practice Chapter 7
With the funeral done, Edric was unsure of what to do with himself. He still had affairs to settle, his parent's farmland, now his farmland, being the biggest one, but he couldn't help feeling anxious. He couldn't tell what the uneasy feeling was about, though.

A Veil of the Mind
They said it would feel like swimming—no currents, no resistance, like floating in the water. To me, it feels like waves crashing. The rushing waters hit me again and again when a new memory invades my mind. Against my will, I'm forced into the past, reliving moments captured in time, sometimes for the better, but others…

The Alchemist's Practice Chapter 6
Edric wore an outfit that his master had bought for him to the funeral. It was meant for important occasions, and he had worn it several times when meeting with prolific merchants or dignitaries. The Alchemist's Practice Chapter 3
Her eyes always captivated him. As blue as the sky, even in the dimmest light, but only on the surface. It only happened on rainy days or rarely when the clouds were just right, but Wynn's eyes were a fierce smokey grey. Not many seemed to notice, or if they did, none had mentioned it when they were young.

The Alchemist's Practice Chapter 2
The road from Sybold was well travelled because it was one of the central towns of the Julaein continent. After reaching the next town over and switching to another wagon headed to Mayel, things became quieter. And, in the quiet, often bandits struck. Thankfully Edric was spared such circumstances. His journey was unexpectedly uneventful, and he arrived in Mayel unharmed in two weeks and a few days.

Marvel's Avengers movies are the modern martial arts genre.
If you're like me, in your thirties, overweight, a little too into Power Rangers as a kid, then maybe you liked watching Jackie Chan movies growing up. Maybe you even caught the Jackie Chan Adventures cartoon when you were at that age where it was just starting to become a faux pas to watch kid's cartoons. Maybe you fought with your friends about how Jackie Chan totally didn't voice himself in the cartoon. HE'S A BUSY MAN JASON. JUST DROP IT!
