Air Force gONE
Joe’s call to his old friend sounded pretty innocuous, like old Air Force Academy buddies getting a chance to reunite – “Hey Cal, Joe Deire! How the hell are ya Bud? Hey, I’m just checking to see if you peeped the Q3 schedule? Looks like we’re in the cockpit together on One. Aye, I look forward to flying the friendly skies with my friend.”

The HEIR who lost a FORTUNE in a PARACHUTE
“Aye yo Dunzz! It’s ya momz! YO DUNZZ! You wanna get this before you take that leap?” Melo’s words fell loudly on deaf ears. Dunston Derazu, aka Dunzz, was completely unaware that there was anyone around. Dunston was mentally walking through the aeronautical display he was prepared to give his 2.3 million social media followers – Dunzz Demons. Dunston was one half of a daredevil duo with his childhood friend Romelo Roice. Together, they attempted feats and stunts that rivaled the Evil Knievel flare of the 70’s combined with the social media appeal of Rob Dyrdek’s Ridiculousness. And yet, they managed to survive every escalating adventure without so much as a broken bone. Fall after fall, painful failure after excruciating success, the Dynamic Duo somehow managed to wrap up their exploit with their popular catchphrase “Demon’s do what the devil fears! Do sumpin!”

Summer Blizzard
We drove up the snowy, winding road towards the cozy A-frame cabin, each of us speechless and wildly perplexed. The winding road was not the cause of our quiet ride or collective bewilderment – the dips, elevations, and sharp curves of the road had long failed to bring the same tingle of fear and excitement that it did on our 1st trip 19 years ago. We marveled at the snow and how heavy the gigantic flakes appeared as they lightly floated in a mesmerizing pattern to a perfect pre-assigned spot on what could only be described as a Norman Rockwell Christmas portrait. The snow covered the cabin, ground, and trees in the brightest white velvet, yet the road was still remarkably clear.

Her Time!
As she slowly undressed, she asked herself the question that floated in her head like a Spring rain cloud; the type of cloud that could bring a quick cleansing shower or hang low like a light fog making it hard to see things clearly. Here she was again, stripping herself bare – for him.

New Day, New Job, New Love
New Day, New Job, New Love Josiah looked incredulously at his new Sao Paulo place littered with moving boxes. In the midst of the orchestrated chaos, he calmly and carefully unpacked his favorite suit and polished up his lucky shoes. He had meticulously prepared for the first day at his new job – THE DREAM JOB! He had worked so hard and sacrificed so much - to be more than what the job required and to make the move from his sleepy hometown. As he prepared for the day, he could hear his mom’s voice, see her tears of pride and sorrow, and feel her mama-bear hug around his neck. Now dressed and checking himself in the mirror, Josiah saw his dad’s reflection smiling back at him.

The Night Lulu Cried
AIIIIYYYYEEE!!! – the shrill shriek pierced the stormy fall night over the crack of lightning, booming thunder, howling winds, and the crashing Lake Talula waves. The soundwave silenced the Northern Vermont wooded terrain. Visiting fishermen and campers paused their revelry only to dismiss the whimpering cry of some misfortunate animal.
