Did I Lock the Door?
I had just moved to New York City. I got a job in Midtown in Manhattan, some typical executive assistant position making just enough to live here, but not enough to enjoy it. My roommates were nice enough though, both slightly older girls than me, who was fresh out of college. Anna, lived in a downstairs studio that connected to the two of us upstairs. She bartended in the Lower East Side of Manhattan. Shannon, the upstairs roommate worked for a non-profit, something to do with the city parks she told me. They welcomed me with open arms and wine. Telling me about the city and all the fun to be had. Once I was all moved in, we all settled into went on our own schedules.

A Favor for a Friend
Caleb heard a soft buzz outside of his window. He slightly opened the blinds to see. A small mechanical drone was dropping off the package. It teetered slightly as the wind pushed it, but found its proper path onto his porch. Caleb stepped outside onto his front porch and looked down at the package.

Dragons Over Oklahoma
There weren't always dragons in the valley. My Grandfather taught me about such things at a young age. My father, lost in the great war, never believed him. I however, was a wide eyed boy. Looking to take in the world with all it had to offer. A happy child with a full imagination.

Fates of Chaos
Caleb was tired. Tilling the land with his father worked his body rough. They toiled over the land day after day preparing for Spring to come into fruition. Thus the planting would begin. Caleb hoped the harvest this year would be better. Lehrin's distributor had questioned Father last year. Saying the crops were not good enough for his full prices. Father had to hold Caleb back from bashing in his face at the time. A farmer who had been apart of the community for ages getting questioned like that was out of line. Caleb shook his head. He gathered the rest of the tools and headed towards the toolshed.

Ramblings of an Amateur: Short Films
A scene, a story, or an image. These can appear in the mind of anyone at anytime. A frustrating fact as these subjects can enthrall a person for the remainder of their day. I personally obsess over stories I could write. Scenes for a film that could be shot. Even, a picture perfect view that could be captured on camera, often left stuck in the world to pass by.
