Bio
On 06/14/2016, my cousin committed suicide, and there were a lot of unanswered questions. After that, I decided that I didn't want to leave anything unanswered, so this page is a place for me to write anything and everything on my mind.

5 Lessons I Learned as a DCP Student
When I accepted my position in the Disney College Program, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was worried I wouldn’t gain anything from the experience, because I was going to be working on a roller coaster, even though I’m an animal science major. I didn’t think I was going to stay for my entire program, but I was excited to try it out. I quickly found out the program was going to teach me some of my most important life lessons.

4 Ways Working at Disney World Helped Me Towards My Animal Science Degree
When I was accepted into the Disney college program, I was so excited to start my journey. My advisor, however, was much more hesitant on me leaving for Orlando for six months, pausing my classes and degree for the time being. I went anyways, and although in the back of my head I questioned if I was making the right decision, I started to realize that the lessons I learned by working with tens of thousands of people a day could easily be applied to my future career of being a veterinarian.

I Got It from My Momma
As cliche as it is, I’ll be the first to admit my mom is my best friend. I Loved Every Minute of Being a Military BratTop Story - September 2018
My dad was already in the military before he met my mom. He was a jet engine mechanic, and he was stationed in Maine when he met my mom. They met at a bar called The Barking Spider. I don’t know if they immediately hit it off, but eventually I came into the picture, and my parents got married. They’ve been married for 23 years now, and let me tell you, we’ve been through a lot as a military family.

Thank You for Tearing Me Apart
I thought I had found my forever with you. A future without you became a future I couldn’t imagine, and I was not so secretly already planning our wedding. Everything we did was together, and every decision we made was discussed with the other. We were so good at compromise, and the chemistry we shared was unmatchable. We meshed so well together, and I was the happiest I had ever been.

Dog Is Man’s Best Friend?
Growing up with dogs, I always believed the saying “dogs are a man’s best friend.” I had an all black shepherd/lab mix named Bo. He was my mom’s best friend. My sisters and I were the first to say our mom would choose Bo over us (she wouldn’t really, but man it felt like it sometimes). Bo was mom’s eye in the hurricane— he always knew how to calm her down and make her smile. He was exactly what she needed in any situation— the epiphany of a best friend.
