Hasbro Confirm Force FX Elite Replica Of Rey's 'Rise Of Skywalker' Lightsaber
Lightsabers were probably the first Star Wars toys. Although these ”toys” were usually either broomsticks or plastic pipes, which were used by the kids in the late '70s to reenact the duel between Darth Vader and Ben Kenobi in their backyards. Today, there are countless lightsaber toys and replicas for sale, including many cheap rip-offs with “creative” names like “Galaxy Sword” or “Force Saber.”

Lucasfilm VP On The Future Of The 'Star Wars' Franchise
Star Wars has definitely had its ups and downs throughout the years, and opinions on the series seem to change with the seasons. However, we are currently living in a boon of Star Wars content. Things like The Clone Wars Season 7, The Bad Batch, and of course, The Mandalorian have each been fan favorites and one of the driving forces for Disney+. With shows like The Book of Boba Fett and the Obi-Wan series on the horizon and Star Wars: Visions having just been released, Star Wars fans have a lot to enjoy and look forward to. That being said, there have been concerns from fans about an over-saturation of Star Wars content. This was a concern several years ago when the Sequel Trilogy was in full swing, and Marvel has gone through similar concerns with the amount of content they put out each year. Lucasfilm Vice President, James Waugh recently spoke about Star Wars: Visions, keeping Star Wars special, and what is in store for the future of the franchise.

Ewan McGregor Talks About 'Obi-Wan Kenobi' After Production Wrap
High on every Star Wars fans' wish list has been a movie and/or series about Obi-Wan Kenobi set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, to help give us some more information about what exactly Obi-Wan has been doing ever since going into exile on Tatooine to watch over and protect Luke from the Sith. John Jackson Miller previously wrote a book, Kenobi, to help fill in some gaps. And another novel, Dark Lord: The Rise of Darth Vader, gave us a brief glimpse at the end of that book of Obi-Wan's life on Tatooine, when he discovers that Anakin/Vader survived their duel on Mustafar.

The Biggest Redemption In 'Star Wars' Was Not Anakin Skywalker
Let’s face it. The Star Wars fandom can be fickle at best, and completely exhausting at worst when it comes to the discourse and changing of opinions. Once upon a time, the prequel trilogy was universally disliked if one spent time online around any Star Wars discussion pages. Now, as a new generation of Star Wars fans has grown up, the opinion has changed to a more positive tone. People seem to miss George Lucas again since he is no longer making Star Wars films. Today’s redemption story is that of a little known creator by the name of Dave Filoni. He is considered a Star Wars god by fans these days for his work in Clone Wars, Rebels, Resistance, and The Mandalorian. However, once upon a time, he was disliked by many, especially those early fans of the Expanded Universe who thought that he did not understand Star Wars and was ruining the saga. Oh how the tide has turned.

Bo-Katan Actress Address Her "Unfinished Business" In 'The Mandalorian' Season 3
The most recent season of The Mandalorian ended on a bit of a cliffhanger, with several questions still left in the air. The chief question among these questions is what is going to happen between Din Djarin and Bo-Katan Kryze. In the final episode of Season 2, Mando finds himself in possession of the Darksaber, which he took from Moff Gideon, and was the sole reward Bo-Katan needed from their conflict with Gideon. However, Mandalorian tradition dictates that the Darksaber must be won in combat, so Mando can’t simply give her the saber, which he tries to do. The episode ends on a much larger reveal, but the tension between Mando and Bo-Katan is never resolved. Bo-Katan herself, Katee Sackhoff, does have some feelings regarding their “unfinished business.”

The Best Musical Pieces From Each 'Star Wars' Movie: Part 1 – The Prequel Trilogy
Ever since I started watching the Star Wars movies, I have maintained that the movies, although they stand well enough on their own, would not be quite the same without the amazing film scores carefully crafted by maestro John Williams. Heavily utilizing "leitmotifs," or "short, recurring musical phrase" associated with a particular person, or idea, Williams created so many of these amazing and memorable themes for the Star Wars movies. I believe that they are so memorable, that they basically are "characters" in each film. Being a film score music lover, I have deep appreciation for what Williams was able to accomplish within the Star Wars movie franchise. In this installment, I will be discussing some of the best pieces of music from the prequel trilogy movies.

Mark Hamill Shares Loving Tweet With Harrison Ford
When you think of Star Wars, who are the first heroes that come to mind? Chances are that, if you have been following the franchise for a really long time, they might include the likes of Luke Skywalker and Han Solo, portrayed by actors Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford. These roles and these actors became household names thanks to the cultural phenomenon of which they were a part. Luke Skywalker was the classic hero archetype, the young person looking over the horizon and wanting more. Han Solo was the rogue who ended up having a heart of gold. Both of these heroes have been taken in various directions in many stories over the years.

Marcia Lucas Speaks Out Against The Sequel Trilogy
On July 28, 2021, J.W. Rinzler sadly passed away. Roughly one and a half months after his demise, his probably last book Howard Kazanjian: A Producer's Life was published. It deals with the life and career of the famous film producer, who worked on movies like The Empire Strikes Back, Return of The Jedi, and Raiders of The Lost Ark and collaborated with movie-making giants like Alfred Hitchcock, Sam Peckinpah, Steven Spielberg, and of course George Lucas.
