Kevin Feige's 'Star Wars' Film Theme Has Been Revealed
With the enormous success of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, fans have often clamored to have Kevin Feige take on other genre projects. Also, with Star Wars and Marvel both being owned by Disney, it would only make sense for Feige to head to a galaxy far, far away, and it appears to finally be happening. While there have been numerous rumors that he would be helming the future of the Star Wars universe, those rumors have since been debunked. Feige will, however, be producing at least one Star Wars movie, and that movie has a writer and a loose theme.

Samuel L. Jackson Tells Fans To Look Closely At This Famous 'Star Wars' Scene
It’s great to have such a famous and beloved actor be so invested as a fan of the Star Wars saga. (Check out his 2019 Howard Stern interview to see how he asked for and received a Star Wars role: starting at 2:39 at this link). And it’s even better, when he has his own theories on the material. Samuel L. Jackson has his finger on the pulse of the Star Wars fan community; or he at least enough to trigger fun fan discourse.

How 'The Mandalorian' Can Continue Without Baby Yoda
When The Mandalorian premiered on Disney+ in November 2019, people did not expect the first episode to end the way that it did. Many went in expecting a straightforward bounty hunter story, but the premise changed completely thanks to the reveal of "Baby Yoda," whose real name would later be revealed to be Grogu. Needless to say, this is a twist that many were not expecting, especially given that Yoda's species has been a mystery (mainly because George Lucas has been outspoken about how he does not want Yoda's species or homeworld to be explained).

The Incredible Story Behind Dave Filoni's Rise To Creative Director At Lucasfilm
Back in May of this year, fans noticed that Dave Filoni’s page on the official Lucasfilm website had a recent update. His title had changed to Executive Creative Director at Lucasfilm. The promotion probably happened back in late spring of 2020 but had remained largely under the radar until the change on the website. Today, we fans are familiar with his work in Star Wars: The Clone Wars, Star Wars Rebels, Star Wars Resistance, The Mandalorian, and Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and cannot wait to see The Book of Boba Fett and Ahsoka. His journey to Lucasfilm was interesting and unique. A huge Star Wars fan himself, he had accomplished every fan’s dream of working with George Lucas and bringing the saga to life.

Cut Lawquane's Future After 'The Bad Batch'
Earlier this season, it was a welcome surprise to many that Cut Lawquane, the clone deserter from The Clone Wars, made an appearance on The Bad Batch. In the second episode, appropriately titled "Cut and Run," we saw Cut and his family leave Saleucami since the Empire presence was becoming heavier on that world. However, this is not the first time that we have heard what he was up to after the Clone Wars.

Brian Daley - The Man Who Expanded The Universe
On February 11, 1996, Brian Daley died of pancreatic cancer at the age of only 48. Younger fans might not even be familiar with this name, but for those who have been there when Star Wars exploded in the late '70s, Daley was one of the very first who expanded the lore beyond that of the movies.

This Rebel From 'Rogue One' Will Be Joining The Cast Of 'Andor' On Disney+
Since we haven't yet reached the heat death of the universe, more Star Wars series are being released on Disney+ in the coming years. One of the upcoming ones is Andor, about, fittingly enough, Cassian Andor, one of the protagonists of the generally well received Rogue One: A Star Wars Story. It will follow his exploits before the events of the film, showing his earlier years fighting with the Rebel Alliance against the evil Empire. It will be a prequel series to a prequel (or midquel, depending on how you want to look at), and it is set to be released in 2022 and consist of twelve episodes.

Star Wars Legends vs. Canon. Who Did Better?
With the creation of The Clone Wars animated series in 2008 and, most notably, the purchase of Lucasfilm by Disney in 2012, Lucasfilm had the opportunity to create lots of new Star Wars content, some of which subsequently overwrote the existing story canon, and relegate them to "Legends." While this resulted in some good and sometimes even brilliant new perspectives regarding existing Star Wars characters and storylines, there were times when it completely missed the mark. In this article, I will explore some fairly significant changes that The Clone Wars series, as well as the subsequent decision by Lucasfilm to rebrand existing Star Wars Expanded Universe content as "Legends", has brought to the galaxy far, far, away, some of it for the better and some of it for the worse.
