'Obi-Wan Kenobi' Set Photos Show Ewan McGregor, Stormtroopers, And More

The most anticipated Star Wars series Obi-Wan Kenobi is finally being filmed. Star Wars fans from all over the world are extremely excited to see the series already filming. The series is scheduled to be released sometime in 2022, and still remains a mystery for the most part. All we know about the plot of the series is that it will take place ten years after Revenge of the Sith, during the reign of the Empire.

The series promises to feature everyone’s favorite Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, a long time after the duel with his former Padawan and best friend, Darth Vader (Anakin Skywalker). The series promises to give Star Wars fans from all over the world, one final confrontation between Obi-Wan Kenobi and Lord Vader. The series just began its principal photography journey, and we have some amazing leaked photos from the filming location. Twitter users @infomarwars and @winterjedi have leaked some amazing images from the Obi-Wan Kenobi series that show Ewan McGregor in what could be his new Kenobi attire. The second photo shows us a person wearing an Imperial officer attire, followed by a person in front of him, wearing a stormtrooper armor:

These photos don’t reveal much to us about the characters, but it is awesome to see Ewan in his Obi-Wan Kenobi gear again. The attire he is wearing in these photos make him look like someone who’s trying to run away, contrasting with his old Jedi robes. Maybe he changed his Jedi robes to blend better among the desert planet of Tatooine, as Jedi are but extinct, and those who survived are considered traitors. So it makes sense that Obi-Wan would get out of his Jedi robes to blend in better among the regular citizens.

Maybe in this upcoming Star Wars series, we will see many adventures outside the desert planet of Tatooine. Maybe we will see Kenobi’s process as he looks out for Luke from a certain point of view. Fans probably don't mind that this is just a small glimpse at Kenobi, as it still gets them more excited to finally see Ewan as Kenobi again. Some may be hoping to see Hayden in the Vader suit in leaked photos to come.

In the Skywalker saga, Obi-Wan is such an important part to the story of the Skywalkers, as it was he who trained Anakin and later his son Luke. In some way, Kenobi is responsible for the continuation of the Jedi, as he trained the Chosen One, and The Last Jedi. By doing that, he also contributed to Anakin’s redemption, as it was due to his teaching that Luke saw the good in his already corrupted father. Obi-Wan suffers a lot throughout his life, seeing his master perish without even being able to stop it, losing the love of his life to the hands of Maul, and then disfiguring his best friend. I don’t even think Anakin could handle what Kenobi lived through in his many years as a Jedi. Maybe in this new upcoming series, we will learn many new things from Kenobi’s past that will shock fans from all walks of life. Although we know nothing of the many new adventures that are to come in this new Disney+ exclusive series, we all can be sure it will be something amazing. All these many adventures that are to come to the Disney+ exclusive series will all lead to a final confrontation between Vader and Obi-Wan, and will later connect to their final duel in A New Hope.
