blazing lantern hangs in an ocean of clouds. Too bright for me to love.

navy loves to fall in crushing softness, to lull the world to dreaming.
moon calls the tide to attention. Blue waves dance and drown at her command.
web woven only to ensnare. Blue light refracts, luring living dead.
indigo creature makes it’s home in my mind’s eye; I cannot know peace.
blue sweepings under my heart’s rug. Forlorn echoes collect like much dust.
churning seas in me ravage my joy, for sorrow’s sweet intimacy.
stars winking at me from their phthalo tapestry- I’m in on the joke.
song rises from depths, steps from crystal to shoreline; seduction is born.
once more cannot hurt, shadow-self makes me swallow handful of blue pills.
crest and break over me; drown me in redemption elusive peace, found.
quick blue wink, attempt at normalcy; “give it here.” gun kisses my cheek.
