ancient mosaic tells the world's same stories; none are unique or pure.
rarity begets value; I know you're precious but not to my taste.
cunning ocean's soul, drag me down, return that which you hid in blue depths.
caress and console break over me once again, cleanse with whitecapped hands.
never has there been such loneliness in midst of interconnection.
you know I hate it, so you crumble extra on the dinner we share.
you instilled in me a lifelong yearning to seek blue Narnian seas.
shrouded in blue mist, seductive abundance waits to snare mere mortals.
sapphire on my hand, dazzling evidence of a promise I can't keep.
crescendo and fall violent tenderness, only way the sea can love.
