Dinner Discussion The noise of heavy silver on fine china made it hard to hear any conversation. Only the briefest of comments were exchanged until the bulk of the meal was consumed. After the dinner plates were removed, a dessert of fresh melons and grapes was served, naturally with more wine.

Seeking Security Marcus and Carol were surprised to see they were not the first people in the serving line. Their hunger drove both to savagely attack their plates filled with fried eggs, hash-browns and bacon. Without speaking a word, they shoveled the food down, attempting to appease their ravenous appetite. They were too consumed with eating to carry on any meaningful conversation. They only nodded their heads in recognition of the other members as they passed by.

A New Day The morning sun squeezed through the gap in the shabby curtains and slapped Carol on her face. A scowling frown flashed briefly until she reached out and felt the presence of Marcus next to her. Then the frown was instantly replaced by a smile that spread across her face like a wild fire. In half sleep, she snuggled her softness against his muscular body and kissed him in a passionate attempt to rouse him from his deep sleep. Marcus rewarded her kiss in an equally passionate response. Blankets and sheets dropped to the floor as the two lovers vented their passions.
