The Unsolved Murders of Rachel Applethwaite and Marina Monte
Rachel Applethwaite It was Saturday 24 January 1987. Rachel, 23 and her boyfriend Ian, 20 watched television in their DHSS hotel bedroom in Earls Court, London before the pair went out to look for business on the streets of London. Rachel worked as a prostitute, and at around 7 pm, the pair arrived at Cleveland Terrace, where Rachel solicited for a client. She did not have to wait long before her first client of the evening arrived. A man in an orange mini pulled up. Ian checked out the car, as he always did. He found no issues, so Rachel got into the car and then drove off with the man.

Carol Lannen 18-year-old, mother of one Carol Lannen, did not have the best start in life. She was the youngest of five children, her father had been in prison during her childhood, and Carol had been placed in care for part of her young life. She was described by her peers from school as being a loner with very few friends.

The Cold Case of Alexander Harris
On November 28th, 1987, Roxanne Harris, her father, and her son, 7-year-old Alexander, were on their way back to their Home in Mountain View, California. The family had been visiting Las Vegas for Thanksgiving and decided to make a stop on their way home at Whiskey Pete's Casino in Primm, Nevada.

The Tragic Murder of 7-year-old Sherrice Iverson
Sherrice Iverson was visiting the Primadonna Casino resort (now called the Primm Valley Resort and Casino) with her father LeRoy Iverson and her 14-year-old brother, Harold. Her father was drinking and gambling in the casino, leaving Sherrice in the care of Harold. Security staff at the casino returned Sherrice to her father several times as they found her running around unsupervised.

The Unsolved Murder of Jackie Waines
Jakie Waynes lived with her friend, Avril Miles, on Hepburn road in the St Paul’s area of Bristol. As well as having two names, she also had two homes. Her second home was a council maisonette at Bevan Court, near Grosvenor Road. Jackie worked as a prostitute and would often take her clients to the maisonette. Jackie had three children, but they had all been taken into care.

The Cold Case of Tracey Mertens
December 23rd, 1994, Rochdale, Greater Manchester, England Tracey, her partner Joey and their two children Kelly, aged 11, and Daniel, 12, had recently moved from Birmingham to Rochdale. They did not tell their family why they moved and the children told the police that they moved very quickly. It was Christmas time, but to the children, it did not feel like it as there were no presents under the tree this year. The children assumed that this was because of the move. However, it turned out that Joey was in trouble with drug dealers, owing a lot of money to people in the Birmingham area.

September 21st, 1993, Ipswich, Suffolk, England. Karen Hales was just 21 years old when she was brutally murdered in her home on Lavenham road in Ipswich. She lived with her partner Peter, who she had bet at school and their 18-month-old baby. Karen worked part-time in a local Boots store and Peter worked at the local bus depot.

The Unsolved Murder of Alexander ‘Sandy’ McClelland
The light green Ford Cortina belonging to Sandy was found parked in a car park on Bethel Street, near the Brighouse Wheelers Working Men’s Club in on the outskirts of Leeds in West Yorkshire. When police searched the car, they found Sandy's body, he had been stabbed to death, with the fatal wound being through the heart.
