Getting Through the In-between
Every fall and winter, it’s the same old thing. Shorter days, colder nights, lots of holidays and birthdays to celebrate. Somehow, the past few months were never-ending. The pandemic restrictions contributed to it, but I did too. A box from work I brought home still needs unpacking. Piles of clothes over there, stacks of books and things, and many random moments when I thought I’d do it tomorrow. It almost springs with the usual signs of tulips breaking through the ground and grass changing from brown-yellow to springtime green.

Forgotten Treasure, Found
I’ve always enjoyed estate sales. The culmination of someone’s life that family and friends leave behind. Old tools, wrapping paper, drawers full of pencils and pens, books, collectibles, and well-used pots and pans. Some would call it all junk. Depending on the estate sales agent, you can haggle for some great prices. Listing the items I’ve seen could be an encyclopedia of its own. Once, I bought a replacement glass pot lid for a buck. This story is about forgotten treasure found in a small black book and a vintage clock. I picked them up together for only ten bucks.

Is It a Bunch of Bull or Was I Taurean From Birth?
Every time I'm asked about my birth sign, I'm happy to talk about my Taurean attributes. The response I get before a discussion occurs is usually, "Oh, the stubborn one." Yes, that's right. I am quite stubborn, and I will discuss it, but many other 'typical' Taurean qualities are inherent to my nature. Let's explore the stability, anger, sensuality, stubbornness in my life from being born a Taurus. These are traits to be managed rather than 'giving' into them. I will touch on those thoughts along the way.
