Women of Taste Part 3

Welcome to the next chapter of my Women of Taste journey! If you need to catch up, be sure to read parts 1 and 2 before diving into this exciting last course.

Flashback to my 23-year-old self in design class, creating a piece titled "Sophisticated Comfort."

Fast forward a decade, and I found myself in Miami, drawing two more pieces in a similar style - one named Fresa and the other "Classy Lady."

Since then, I've always had a vision of combining these three artworks into a cohesive series called "The Women of Taste." I wanted to showcase the different facets of femininity and elegance through each piece. However, I wasn't sure when or how this series would come to fruition.

But this year, as I began delving into a new style of art and pondering ideas to fill the remaining frames I had purchased, the concept for the series finally unfolded before me. I realized that these three artworks, created at different stages of my life, held a special significance. They represented a journey of personal growth and artistic evolution.

With three frames left and already having completed four other individual pieces, I sought to create something unique and distinct with these final three. And that's when the idea struck me - I would incorporate my old drawings into the series. It was the perfect way to pay homage to my artistic journey and bring together the past and present in a harmonious blend of creativity.

Now, as I embark on completing "The Women of Taste" series, I am filled with excitement and anticipation. Each artwork represents a chapter in my life, a snapshot of my artistic expression. I love how these pieces came together, weaving a narrative of sophistication, charm, and timeless beauty through multiple decades of my life.

Classy lady

In a world of refined tastes, where elegance thrives,

There resides a lady, with poise in her stride.

A connoisseur of life's finer things, she's known to be,

A lover of food, wine, and all luxury.

With grace in her demeanor, she enters the scene,

A vision of sophistication, the epitome of serene.

Her eyes, like sparkling diamonds, reflect the candlelight,

As she indulges in her passions, igniting pure delight.

A glass of Double Eagle Napa Valley Cabernet she holds,

Its rich, ruby hue, a tale yet untold.

With every sip, her senses dance in harmony,

As flavors unfold, like a symphony.

Her palate, refined, knows the secrets it conceals,

In every layer of taste, the wine reveals.

Blackcurrant and plum, a hint of vanilla's embrace,

Caressing her tongue, leaving an opulent trace.

She savors the velvety texture with each gentle swirl,

A heavenly elixir, an experience to unfurl.

For this lady of distinction, it's more than mere pleasure,

It's a journey of indulgence, beyond measure.

Sometimes in her hand, she’ll hold a fork, delicate and refined,

A plate of culinary artistry, carefully designed.

From foie gras to truffles, her taste buds ignite,

As she explores gastronomic wonders, day and night.

She adores the symphony of flavors on her plate,

From the tenderest filet mignon to the finest chocolate gateau.

For her, food is an art, a tapestry of delight,

To be savored slowly, with every delectable bite.

As she dines, conversations flow, a lively discourse,

Of art, culture, and all matters of high course.

Her refined intellect, as dazzling as her wine,

Enhances the ambiance, making the evening divine.

She revels in the ambiance of a candlelit affair,

Surrounded by beauty, she's a vision beyond compare.

A lady of substance, with a palate so refined,

She exudes an allure, captivating and kind.

For this classy lady, it's not just the wine she enjoys,

But the symphony of life's pleasures that she employs.

Food, wine, and the finer things in life, she adores,

Embracing luxury, as her spirit soars.

So raise a glass to this lady, of impeccable taste,

As she sips her Double Eagle, with elegance and grace.

May her love for the culinary arts forever shine,

A true embodiment of a life so divine.
