Have you ever questioned your life's significance? Frequently given responses include "success," "happiness," or "satisfaction." All of these objectives are admirable, but in my opinion, the point of living is to take every obstacle and test as an opportunity to grow into the person you were destined to be. You are put to the test in life to be and grow into your highest self.

Moreover, Life can indeed be challenging and often requires effort and perseverance to overcome obstacles and achieve survival. While the specific nature of the challenges can vary from person to person and situation to situation, it is true that survival and success often necessitate hard work, determination, and resilience.

In the natural world, living organisms must adapt to their environments, compete for resources, and navigate various threats and dangers. This struggle for survival has shaped the principles of natural selection and evolution, favoring those individuals and species that are best equipped to survive and reproduce in their respective environments.

Similarly, in human society, individuals often face numerous challenges and have to work hard to meet their basic needs, such as food, shelter, and security. In many cases, this involves acquiring education and skills, seeking employment, building social connections and making responsible decisions to ensure a sustainable and fulfilling life.

While the concept of life being a test implies a purpose or external judgment, it is important to remember that everyone's experiences and circumstances differ. The level of difficulty, opportunities, and resources available can vary greatly from person to person. Factors such as socioeconomic background, access to education, health and support networks play a significant role in shaping an individual's ability to thrive.

It is also crucial to acknowledge that the definition of success and survival varies among individuals. While some may prioritize material wealth and professional accomplishments, others may find fulfillment in personal relationships, creative pursuits or contributing to their communities. Each person's journey is unique, and it is important to respect and support diverse paths to survival and well-being.

Ultimately, while life may present challenges that require hard work and perseverance, it is also an opportunity for growth, learning, and self-discovery. By embracing the challenges, seeking support when needed, and nurturing our physical, mental, and emotional well-being, we can navigate the complexities of life and strive for a fulfilling existence.

In psychological perspective there is mounting evidence that positive psychology approaches can be helpful during stressful, difficult, or grievous circumstances. Additionally, they might aid in your ability to overcome obstacles more readily and recover more quickly from upsetting or traumatic experiences. You can attempt the following three positive psychology techniques.

Live in the Moment

Focusing on the present moment consciously and accepting it without judgement is the practice of mindfulness. When the future is unknown, learning to live more in the present is very beneficial. It has been demonstrated that formal mindfulness-based stress reduction programes can help people who are dealing with a variety of difficulties, such as cancer and chronic pain, to lessen their physical and psychological symptoms.

Practice Gratitude

Having gratitude means appreciating what you receive, whether it is something material or something intangible. You express thanks for all the good in your life. This can be applied to the past (by recalling happy memories and being appreciative of your childhood or previous blessings), the present (by not taking things for granted as they occur) and the future (by holding out hope and optimism that wonderful things will happen). Our brains are programmed to notice when anything goes awry. However, keeping a gratitude journal and listing your blessings helps you become more conscious of your good fortune.
