I had the honor of auditing (another story for another day, but too many credits) a 400/600 level Faulkner course my final semester of undergrad (and what a charmed semester it was). Margaret Yonce, affectionately known as Peggy, was my professor, and my soul sister Paige audited it with me. Paige and I had Shakes and our French courses together, even ditched French one day to go across the river to Aiken, kidnapping J.R. from another class to see Eastern Carolina’s production of The Complete Works of William Shakespeare, Abridged. I do not digress. If you can talk about Faulkner without mentioning Shakespeare, you’re surface reading.

Ah, To Be Reviewed
Back in March, I was fortunate enough for a story of mine to be published in Sci Phi Journal. I was so excited about that on its own, but there was more to come with it. Having my story cataloged on ISFDB as well as being filed in the Royal Library of Belgium felt like two really big things. My story was going to be out there. You could find it. And by the way, I'd call it a shameless plug but I always feel shameful when I plug, if you haven't read my story, you can read it here.
