It Happened. Top Story - May 2024.
Introduction Three years ago I joined Vocal to win a big prize. That never happened, but this did. What Did? As you know I have a fascination with numbers and tend to track what happens to my account via Vocal's flawed statistics. As I hit certain numbers of stories, I tend to share them with others on Vocal.

THE POWER OF PERSONAL WRITING !
Whether personal writing has already revealed you its wonder or you are just setting out on your excursion, the article will give you a road map and decent gear for it. The necessity of efficient personal writing. Personal writing is more than writing texts: it is how you acquire the key to your true self. Writing about loves is how you start doing artistic compression, cleansing, and ratifying your loves: the one that revs your engine, the one that makes you full, the one that makes you move along. It can also be a great tool of character-building. Common struggles. Fear of vulnerability. Fear of self-distrust. Fear of misarticulating oneβs words.

The Aesthetic Epidemic: Understanding the Roots of Lookism
We care about more than just ourselves - we care about our loved ones, our communities, and the world around us. We are affected by tragic events, especially when a child is murdered, regardless of where it happens. It deeply impacts us and makes us feel disheartened. Moral evils raise doubts about the goodness of the world and the value of existence, especially for those who believe in a benevolent deity. However, anyone can contemplate the purpose and value of the universe in light of such evils. We may not need to worry about the value of the Universe and instead focus on finding value in our own lives or the lives of our loved ones. The concept of value is subjective and can be created by us.

In The Cracks of Light
It is the sun speckling my forearm with radiant kisses as my hand guides through the ebs and flows of the wind, my hair leaving wisping traces across my cheeks as I head through nothingness disguised with cornfields and patches of woods that have turned green for a season. In those moments where melodic soliloquies transport me into another realm of poetic fantasy, that is where I can be truly beyond what my body so viciously remembers.
