My Way Of Writing On Vocal Is Weird

Or Is It?

Introduction

I will probably find out every Vocal Creator is the same as me, but while I hate to be constrained I generally write with certain structures in place, which, for me, make writing easier.

Hopefully, this will give you a little more insight into my writing process and maybe some ideas for yourself, or you may be able to give me some pointers via the comments.

Another View Of How I Write On Vocal

I generally have a structure for most things I write.

I start off with some relevant music, then an introduction, then the main body and then possibly a conclusion. That is te structure I am using for this article, and it will have a conclusion.

Sometimes challenges specify a number of words, so in those case,s I only write the article, story or poem and hope the reader comprehends what I am trying to say.

My imposter syndrome calls me lazy if I do short-form poetry such as Haiku, Senryū or Limericks and will only use these for Challenge entries. That is just me, I do not judge others.

Almost all my poetry is either Sonnet, Villanelle or Pantoum because the reality is that I feel safe in those forms. With Free-form poetry the imposter-syndrome kicks in again so I do not write like that. Given that almost every Vocal Top Story poem is free-form that is probably the reason why I am so seldom in there despite my poetry being excellent.

I use Vocal Challenges as prompts as I do with Unofficial Challenges. Then if there is still nothing that floats my boat, I drop into the Vocal Resources here:

I do this quite often and here is my last story that used a Vocal prompt:

On Facebook, I love storing stories on threads as they can stay at the top of the line but just dropping it into the normal discussion list means that stories eventually sink, replaced by other newer stories.

Conclusion

Thank you so much for reading, and I hope you took some ideas from this.
