I don't know what to write.
I got the story idea while attending one of the Toastmasters club meetings. A speaker named Edgar spoke on a topic: "I don't have anything to speak on." In this speech, Edgar talked about procrastination. The central theme was how he procrastinated speech preparation until the last moment.

That Poem I Wrote when I was 12
The first piece of writing that was very important to me personally was a rhyming poem, not the first poem I ever wrote, but the first one I went through the process and re-reading and editing a few times through. It was the first poem I wanted to be proud of, the first poem I wanted to share with others. I was 12 years old, and I had recently fallen in love with reading. I had a reading assignment in school, I don’t remember the book, but I know I went through it fast and talked about it a lot with my Mom, who had her own life-long love of reading fiction and literature. She saw a spark in me and gave me her copy of To Kill a Mockingbird and said, “Let’s see how you do with this book.” Harper Lee’s novel is not exactly written for 12-year-olds with its heavy themes of racism, ethics, and the law, but I managed her prose and vocabulary and found myself captivated by the story and its young narrator, Scout. I loved it. I loved the experience of escapism and learning at the same time.

Hey Vocal, Your AI Detection Algorithm Is Flagging Your Real Users
If it wasn’t readily apparent from my profile and collection of stories, I’m a huge STEM nerd. When ChatGPT was announced I rejoiced about the potential for innovation and efficiency. Where many saw [an absolutely incredibly valid] concern about jobs being stolen and their livelihood being jeopardized, I couldn’t help but wax optimistic, suddenly all authors were granted a new, free tool for peer-like review, SEO optimization, and, yes, even text generation.

Breaking the ice
I was a contrarian as a schoolboy. I hated to do what I was told. And in school, I was often told to write. So, I hated writing. After I left school, I took a gap year before I went to university. That winter, I lived in a vacation town on the Jersey Shore. Back then, people observed the seasonal landmarks. After Labor Day, the town was almost deserted.

Little Witch, Little Witch
Do you remember reading the book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See?” in elementary school? It was something of a staple in mine. I don’t think I could even come close to figuring out how many times that book was read to us in Primary and Grade One. Honestly, for someone who was consistently at a reading level a grade or two higher than the grade she was in, it was kind of boring. I can appreciate the rhythm of it and the artful illustrations now, as an adult, but little me got tired of it very quickly.

Disappearing Woman. Top Story - September 2023.
"Disappearing Woman In silence, she's been bound She's here, but gone without a trace Nowhere to be found" The hot, summer sun beat through the window of my bedroom, the song of cicadas leading my small, clumsy hands in their creaking ballad of inspiration. Britney Spears smiled down at me from a poster above my white, wicker desk, her pigtails adorned with tufts of white feathers, beaming a porcelain smile that had yet to crack under the pressure of stardom.

Big Dreams
My teacher looked down at me with a condescending smile and that nod with a slight head tilt that adults get when they are trying to placate a child. She didn’t believe what she had just said to me. But worse than that she didn’t believe what I had said. Not that she thought I had lied, but that she had no faith in the statement I had made to her.

You Don't Like Yourself? Create a New Version of Yourself
Today we are going to talk about the fact if you don’t like yourself you have to create another version of it. Literally, we see celebrities talking about this a lot. You see Beyonce says whenever she goes on stage, she is not Beyonce. She is ‘Sasha Fierce’. A very good example of this as well is David Goggins. David Goggins is a navy seal who was poor and gained a lot of weight in the past. He lost weight. He even ran marathons; this man did incredible stuff. if you don’t know him, you may check him out. But basically they all say: “create another version of yourself”, and when I heard those stories, I was like wow that makes a lot of sense, and I started doing that as well. So, Liz is just herself. Liz is very lazy. Liz does not want to do anything.

What if We had a World Without Literature
Literature is the cornerstone of human expression, ability and creativity. It has woven the fabric of human culture for millennia. It incorporates stories, poetry, plays, essays, and more as a vessel for knowledge, empathy, and imagination. But what if these intricate inscriptions of words, narratives, and emotions did not exist?
