A Vocal Social Society Microfiction Or Poetry Challenge
This IsOne More For You To Flex Your Intellect On
Introduction
In the Vocal Social Society, we run a lot of challenges with various prompts and subjects. This is our latest one
The rules are simple.
- The story must use this image, and that is the actual prompt.
- The story must be posted on the thread above in The Vocal Social Society, and at the end, three random entries will be rewarded with a dollar tip.
And A Little More
If you join the Vocal Social Society then you will get notifications of these prompts and challenges.
While a dollar is not a huge reward, this is more about flexing your creative muscles and also seeing how others approach the prompts.
This can give you ideas that can help you with the more financially rewarding Vocal prompts and you may even get a Top Story out of it.
In the last prompt which you can read here:
We got this Top Story from Sarah Danaher
So you can see that it can help you towards improving your writing and your creative successes.
The prompts are usually minimal, usually a picture or subject, although there are poetry challenges where creators provide their own prompts such as this one.
Obviously, the last two are closed but may give you ideas for setting up your own challenges or even just prompting you to write a story.
Conclusion
AS you know I almost always include a piece of music with my Vocal stories and today it is the appropriate "Telling Stories" by Tracy Chapman.
I will of course write a story for this prompt but will not send myself a tip. I really hope that you will take part in this and maybe even join us in the Vocal Social Society with the other twelve hundred members we have.
Thank you so much for reading and we hope to see you soon along with your stories.

I love how you're always finding inspiration! Looking forward to reading the responses :)
My entry, which is also my 100th story! https://vocal.media/fiction/lost-souls-vn12z0kgq
I'm so sorry Mike, you know I just cannot get inspired by a picture no matter how hard I look at it or even if it smacks me in the face, lol. But I'm looking forward to reading what others come up with!
Another interesting challenge. We'll have to see if I can find the time to come up with something. We're going to be off this weekend to visit family & join in a surprise 90th birthday party for our dad.
Interesting prompt. Hopefully I'll get an idea.
Love to learn and discover new ways to jog creativity
