Bucket List of Places to visit around the world

When it comes the travelling there quit a few places to consider venturing before we might be unable to. Among the many diamonds in the rough, these are just a few to start planning for. Dive into the idyllic waters of Spain's Balearic Islands and head to El Puerto de Santa Maria. In-between gushing over traditional Mallorcan architecture and indulging in some of the country's freshest seafood, make sure you take a trip up to the stunning mountain town of Valldemossa.

1) Great Barrier Reef, Australia

One of the most popular places to visit in Australia is the Great Barrier Reef. A World Heritage Site, the Great Barrier Reef is home to over 3,000 different species of fish, 400 types of coral, and countless other invertebrates. Snorkeling and scuba diving are popular activities here, and there are plenty of tour operators offering trips out to the reef. Whether you're an experienced diver or a first-time snorkeler, the Great Barrier Reef is a must-see destination. If your time on the water lasts less than four hours, your best bet for seeing everything is to charter a boat for either two or three hours. For those looking for something with more depth and clarity, go for the latter option - it'll take around two days but will offer a vastly better experience.

2) Pitons, St Lucia

Pitons are two volcanic peaks that soar above the Caribbean Sea. They're a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most popular tourist attractions in St. Lucia. But there's more to this island than just the Pitons. The Marigot Bay is a popular spot for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling, or scuba diving. There are also plenty of hiking trails for nature lovers who want to get away from it all. One popular trail goes up Sulphur Springs Mountain where you can take in an aerial view of the Pitons and valleys below. For those looking for an adrenaline rush, hike up Gros Morne Mountain to see its scenic views as well as some rock climbing opportunities. Mt. Washington Alpine Resort, New Hampshire: Mt. Washington is located on the border between Maine and New Hampshire on Mount Washington's summit at 6288ft (1917m). It was first developed in 1872 with just five ski tows by Dick Durrance (one of the first Olympic ski jumpers) and now has over 100 runs available to people of all skill levels!
