Our travel consultants always recommend a trip from Dubai to Abu Dhabi at 0800 AM: 0900 AM. Abu Dhabi is 140.00 kilometers from Dubai and requires 75:90 minutes for a safe drive. Meanwhile, major tourist attractions in Abu Dhabi are not open to visitors before 0900 hours. So we think 0800 am is the ideal time to take off from Dubai.
The visit to Abu Dhabi will be at 0800 hrs. However, a typical day trip in Abu Dhabi takes 8 hours to cover the most visited tourist attractions in the city.
Does Abu Dhabi need a special entry visa?
In fact for some reason - we don’t know - many travelers are sending our consultants if they need a new entry visa to travel from Dubai to Abu Dhabi! Our answer is no, it is not.
The UAE is a united country and people have every right to go and travel without any restrictions as their tourist visa is still valid.

The Grand Mosque is open to visitors daily from 0900 to 1000 in the afternoon, and is open until 0430 in the evening after the end of Zuma prayers except on Fridays.
